It’s a matter of record Amaroq is still 3 or 4% down over 12 months.
Over-enthusiasm then, perhaps, driven by the idea America would buy in, in some shape or form.
Though I can’t see they would, as a govt, be interested in gold.
Still a possibility, strategic metals, and rare stuff, though I note there has been a ‘recent discovery’ of home grown rare earths in USA. Europe may need to think hard about things, with USA no longer to be taken as a reliable provider of all things that suit.
I digress somewhat.
You know, all discussion boards punt up now and then takeover possibilities, and some individuals give their selling price forecast prices, wishes really. To retire early, and all that stuff.
Listening again to the podcast, with Mr. Wyvill as a shareholder, down to earth in that respect, it seems to me that that sort of decision, exit point, becomes increasingly likely to be made by the company on our behalf - a major will come along with an offer to take on, at a time when existing, and more, projects have been proved up. ie if Greenland continues to excite, beyond a watching brief and sharing thoughts with Amaroq management, and Amaroq continues to perform, they will make an offer to make a start beyond what lesser juniors can offer, in the new frontier. With existing management operating on their behalf for a couple years.
If things continue as expected, that scenario seems almost inevitable.
