‘Just’ Telfer for now. Looking for grades to improve ( I guess that’s reflected in the guidance ) - and gold price to remain up at this sp.

It’s still all about Hav, isn’t it - though 2 - 3 years away.

What would have been applauded going back - now meets, I think, with a bit of a shrug.

“Havieron's development is expected to be fully funded from cash together with a $500 million binding debt commitment with Tier-1 banks."

In the meantime, Telfer ‘filling in’ admirably.

Iceland closed £1.40.

Canada £1.42.

This volatility a bit of a pain, really. That’s noted by Mr. Archer and Mr. Winnifrith, the latter ruminating on Toronto v London.

I hope that’ll improve a little bit if/when the move to London main market occurs.

Still, over 12 months it’s a case of two forward, one back sort of thing.

This one is taking longer than anticipated.

I never make price predictions. I can’t.And anyway they would be pulling figures out of the air at present.

My feeling, and I wouldn’t want to make too much of thst, is that maybe we’re having a long awaited re-rate, when you consider the operational progress, and additional potential from Black Angel and Nanoq - further firming up in drilling season.

I take my lead from things like this, as a basis, and Mr. Olafsson not being an over-the-top sort of chap.

If the price of gold does as as it’s doing now the revenue from Nalunaq will exceed analyst expectations, as published. Recovery rates, low just now, we are told will increase Q2 on, when flotation circuit up and running.

Mr. Wyvill said the company would be ‘quite profitable’ at $2000 an ounce.

We’ll get forward guidance and budget late February.

In an idle way, I look at the 3 exchanges, when the price makes a move.

Iceland, very small market, little volume. Perhaps inconsequential in the run of things.

It is, as you will know, a Canadian registered holding company, trading through Greenlandic subsidiaries.

Volume counts. And trading hours.

Toronto, on this occasion, led. It is not always the way of it.

Toronto main rise, with accompanied volume, and not unnaturally on time difference, occurred after London close.

Covid, manufacturing, supply chains, was an issue for some of us.

But we survived, despite limited toilet rolls and the like.

Supermarkets still doing offers, as it happens.

Huge fuss about nothing, save for those with cash, in whatever currency, all fiat, to invest.

Won’t register a tinkers cuss with most.

Yes. Whatever USA does with its gold, whatever it has, or has not, makes no difference to global price of the commodity. China, for example, could do the same. So what? Theyre all paying, in fiat( so called worthless) whatever the rate happens to be.

I may be simplistic. One or two on here seem to overblown it. But I’m not fit to enter a deep-rooted conversation. Like, I suspect most on here - I dunno.

Well, in general the major analysts forecasts for gold ( as published by Hydro/Element) were, with outliers, pretty much within a conservative range.

Best to view it that way - good for all producers, and to fund exploration drilling. They’ll all use uplift in revenue to further their own portfolios, or if they don’t have that option, pay dividends.

I still hold Ggp. Done well for me, with others.

The ‘professionals’ really don’t know, do they, on world events, where gold is headed at a point in time.

There’s no immediate threat to the US dollar as a reserve currency, in which gold is priced.

As with all investments, one relies on Ggp continuing to perform.
