I wouldn’t consider Newmont as a long term holder, by the way. They would have given up shares had they had the opportunity,on dilution, they didn’t get that, and have the side deal at 7.2 is it with Wyloo ( eventually owners? )

And they will make their shares available on ASX listing. A good thing all round, probably.

They want the cash, for other things.

I have traded it. In and out on the trend. It hasn’t held. Seems to me, ( simply on the trading ) Ggp has some convincing to do for pi’s on Telfer and the time, capex etc, til H comes on line.

I don’t think there can be very much lingering doubt the acquisitions will complete. Bit of a turn up if they don’t.

Maybe a Ggp RNS will turn it around, when Mr. Day is free to further advise the market.

And I continue to like the model. Pretty much the movers and shakers in Iceland, with govt/pension fund support, diversification to take some account of the ups and downs of commodity prices. The opportunities arising from JV’s where Amrq might be the drilling partner of choice, and the down the road prospect of a buyout for old Eldur, a payday, by a major. Sometime.
