I know all the recent falls are purely speculation & we’ll have to wait for the results for any meaningful movement in the SP but it would be nice to have a stable or slowly rising SP from what most of us consider this site consider a very low valuation

@capitalizer couldn’t agree more I don’t understand why people don’t (as you & I have done) just filter him.

By replying to his/her/its posts just encourages more rubbish posting

Best advice ( which I won’t take!) is not to look at this board or the SP for 6 weeks until we near the Y/E results

My £10 figure was for a potential takeover price the actual SP would be lower perhaps in the region of£6+

The June half year statement & the August half year results will be the turning point. We know pretty much what the March full year results are ( & of course the forward looking statement will be vital) but in June we will see are first positive figures showing reducing debt, increasing margins, increasing profits & hopefully increasing T/O.

This will show the real potential & I believe this will be reflected in a dramatic increase in the SP & if there is talk of a take over rather than basing it on today’s figures base it on the Half year figures.

Personally I hope a take over doesn’t happen but I believe after June we would be looking in excess of£10

@Trisor stop losses have their place & I use them for taking a balanced approach in a wider portfolio. However when in this instance myself & I believe you are probably over invested in CPI in the belief that longer term it is going to be a serious winner hang on & don’t play around with stop losses ( unless you want to do some short term trading with a part of your CPI holdings)

My hopes are that 2026 is where it all comes good.

My targets ( guesses is more realistic!) are £5 around March Y/E results depending on what the forward looking statement says. A big rise with June statement &/or August half year results maybe £6+ with a Y/E target of £8 +.

I don’t think this is too unrealistic & if achieved will set up 2027 nicely

Don’t worry about minor swings it’s what the price will be leading up to Y/E results in March & reactions to the forward guidance will be.

For me the big change I’m expecting is in June mid year statement & August half year results where I hope to see the figures demonstrate all that has been happening I.e. reduced debt, FCF, improving margins, growing sales, increased profits etc.

I get the totally unscientific feeling that sentiment is changing re CPI.

We several new IIs, more PIs & instead of looking for any hint of bad news to drag the share down it seems to focus more on good news (& we should have plenty of that in 2026) to move the SP up.

However for me the June half year statement & the August results are going to be the real catalyst

Darkblue - totally agree- I’ve posted before that people should just green flag the irrelevant posters. However it seems that some enjoy these negative posts so keep reading them.

Black Swan events can be negative or positive they’re just completely unexpected.

I get the impression that CPI is attracting new PIs - as well of course adding RL to the IIs. All looking very positive for 2026. I think in a few weeks we’ll be able to say this is really coming good in THIS year ( rather than next year).

I wonder if some of the FCF could be used as a share buy back to absorb the effect of issuing the RL shares

Could go either way short term. After a quick rise some sort of retrace would be normal ( & CPI has a terrible record after results).

Alternatively as Trenners says could rise based on pipeline.

Personally I’m delighted with the RL deal but it is an awful lot of cash going out & 5 years of £20m costs in transferring could be seen as negative

We will soon know.

My prediction is that it will either go up, go down or stay the same & I’m 100% on that!

I do hope we get a positive week but after years of a build up in the SP prior to an announcement & then a gradual decline afterwards I’m nervous. We keep saying this time it’s different & it never is. With any luck this will prove the exemption.

Watched the AWS video posted by Vorajav & I can why Simpiles has a price target of £25.

AH is not just getting the existing Capita to run effectively but using as a springboard to build a completely new concept. The overall potential If achieved is massive.

Pleased with the results & even more with the initial market reaction which could have been negative. We will see how the next few days pan out, hopefully maintaining the upward trend

I Don think the FTSE 250 has much impact on the SP - it certainly didn’t last time we were in it.

Now the FTSE 100 that’s a different ball game but we’re a million miles away from that

The RNS says that their holding fell below 5% and therefore they’re exempt from reporting so could be anything from 0%-4.99%

To add to my previous post when we think that since share consolidation ( contrary to some poster’s beliefs who thought it would be a disaster) the price has nearly doubled on very little improvement on actual figures but against an increasing positive outlook the potential when improvements are show up in FCF, Accounts, Margin improvements etc are massive

Max - Excellent summary & very much in line with my thoughts. Every year we think it’s going to be different (& hopefully this year it will be) but market moves up prior to statement & sometimes continues to move up for a few days post results only to drop right back again.

As I’ve said before I do wonder if a statement is going to be delayed until we’ve got some really positive news (contract win, exit of loss making contract , FCF etc) as AH will be well aware of previous Y/E disappointments & will try to avoid them this time.

I believe the real long term positive rise will come in the June statement or August half year results showing in accounts for the first time for years actual trading profits.
