On the basis that all manifestos are just a pack of lies & no one is going to implement them I like Farage’s lies better than the others.

All are impossible to implement are totally unfounded & are in cloud cuckoo land

The only thing for sure is that taxes will gup even more

@Trenners I think CPI is suffer from credibility due to JL & the market is only looking at the past rather than forward looking. As such they want to see actual results before acting.

Once the positive results are in the switch comes to forward looking & that’s when we’ll see a major turnaround

Also we may look at CPI daily but to most it’s of little interest

If we get a new major II who decides it’s worth a substantial investment we may well get a leg up earlier

Having watched the video I’m more positive than I’ve been for a long time.

Energy coming from the whole team. Policys implemented now with £90m saving already achieved.

Near doubling of margins from current levels & FCF from next year (& that’s only 6 months away).

Focus on shareholders/dividends etc.

The SP isn’t reflected in current price but it will be at multiples of current levels but maybe not for another 12 months

HHH I think you’ve right there. The 2024 results are, as we already know going to show another loss & it won’t be until 2025 half year results that we start to see some positive figures.

I think AH is doing all he can & yet more patience is needed. Pity he didn’t come on board sooner.

I was hoping to see a modest increase in the SP following an excellent presentation

One of the many positive points was that AH is happy to see a reduction in TO by reducing non profitable or marginally profitable contracts & concentrating on increased profits

TO is meaningless without profit. I would rather have £2b TO at 8% than £3b at 4%

Increase in margins, reduced cost base & more profitable contracts seems a pretty good combination to me

2025 looks like FCF will happen & hopefully dividends

AH has delivered more in 6 months than JL in years

That was meant to be wary not vary!

I wonder if AH isn’t going to come out with some surprises

US listing? New contracts? Change of direction? Etc

I’m just hoping that unlike the JL updates the price doesn’t tank afterwards

Personally I’m reasonably optimistic but vary

I think you’ve all got a point.

As said logically & financially it makes more sense to outsource, however the temptation is to take these services back in house under the guise of saving money (which it won’t) but you can then expand your empire, hire more people get a promotion & a pay rise & move on before the proverbial s..t hits the fan

Aim that all makes sense but AH did say that there would be significant early costs (which In due course will lead to increased margins) in implementing the AI strategy so these would need to be factored in. No doubt the update will enlighten us

Another lacklustre week

I guess the market is expecting the usual JL type of update which was short of facts & full of b….t.

Hopefully AH is going to surprise us in a good way

I think if we get a good clear positive statement with FCF & dividends forecast for 2025 we’ll get an uplift, however if this is put off until 2026 I think most will have lost their patience. Unfortunately JL squandered the time (& money) so AH doesn’t have that luxury.

Stumpy yes I have other stocks but don’t comment on this board about them so really my question is just CPI related

I’m a long term holder with £10k available for short medium term.

Do I buy expecting a rise on a positive Capital markets day or do I sell part of my long term holdings in the expectation of a drop which normally happens after any CPI results/reports & buy back later.

Assume any political action is neutral

Sensible comments appreciated

Interesting that he decline To comment on JL saying ‘hindsight is a wonderful thing’ If he thought JL had done a good job he would have said so inferring that he was not impressed by JLs performance

Hopefully it will be positive & realistic with positive cash flow forecast for 2025 but if this is delayed past 2025 I think many will bail out
