Black swans25 Jul 2020 17:09
Hi All
Black swans fly in and land by night unseen and unnoticed . I have been taken by surprise, heavily topping up in the teens, and assuming it would not have much further to drop, especially with the 'imminent' prospect of even a modest Tribunal award.
I struggle to remain glass 3/4 full, or even half full, with the never ending drawn out delays. However, we have not had RKH specific bad news, the oil is still there, and for a few years at least it will still be needed. The FIG will be desperate to help this get off the ground, and politics may take a more prominent position, even with our 'reborn, post COVID case' PM, the unstable global scenario demands some focus on energy and food supply chain security.
Like many on here, I do not routinely trade, and know nothing other than in the public domain and common sense, so all I can do is grudgingly continue to hold and hope.
The information vacuum is terrible, unless there is a lot going on in the background, such ad PM support for Aberdeen to counter SNP, etc etc. Otherwise, the absence of even reassuring waffle by the BoD is unforgiveable.
I note that Brent (a goose, not a swan) is creeping up towards mid forties, hopefully China is sucking in more oil, Black Swans are often unseen as they fly away.
Wishing all LTH the best, they deserve better than this
