Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
What a pleasant change from the stagnent small trading ranges for week after week, boring everyone numb. I do not know whether it will be higher or lower in a week's time, but I doubt it will be the same.
looking forward

'Organic' is one f the greatest food frauds, just because it is made in a certain way does not necessarily make it better for you or the environment. For example, the used to use copper sulfate as a fungicide on potatoes because it is natural, despite it being a heavy metal that is toxic to just about everything (in the amounts used). On balance, about half of 'organic' is 'good' about half not good. The sentiment might be good, the outcome.....

The tribunal is yet to close the case to submissions, so any rumor of outcome is purely made up. As to guessing the outcome........anyone can have a go
Also as I recall, at one AGM, it was reported that 50M award 25 goes to lawyers, 100M award 35M to lawyers. Not sure currency.

Dear All
My guess would be that there is a 2-5% probability of closure being announced tomorrow, with that probability increasing by the day over the next month or two.
As for SL, no real probability of any news until after legal formalities completed in mid March, but as I mentioned earlier, they then need to motor.
As for the recent SP drop, if the share price had instead slowly inc from 5p to 8p over the last month we would all be whooping for joy and speculating why, not carping.

I hope things will move faster than we expect:
a) PMO takeover proceeding at lightning speed, court case rubber stamp in Feb, things do not normally proceed at such a pace
b) Licence due for renewal in May, FIG would ask as all 'work' for FID long since completed, and Harbour financing avaoable, why would you need an exteniion, get on with it! FID before May.
C) Scottish elections in May, Boris would like good news for Aberdeen before that
D) COP in November, no-one wantsa oil announcements just before that
E) Need to pay lawyers a bit extra to get on with due diligence, but they have already had a long time for that.
IF Harbour want Sealion, why would they delay? The work is all done, just need money committed. Whether or not Navitas is included should not affect the above. The current oil price helps (esp with OM), but should not affect decision to go ahead with SL, that is years ahead. If Harbour believe in oil, then SL is there for the taking.
I appreciate I am glass 3/4 full, but...../..

and the backlash when the public realise how they are being duped and led by the nose into taking expensive measures that superficially sound good, but are damaging, or not yet necessary.
Climate change is too important to be used as a political tool by anticapitalists. This country is performing well in steadily tackling this issue, as for panic.........

FECM, I understand aviation and shipping are excluded from the carbon reduction ambition targets, which we have already reduced by over 40% (I think) since 1990
As to the further impact of ever increasing amount of PV cells/windfarms etc planned over the next ten years, along with further technological progress without shutting down 'Life', the media keeps quiet about. We (the UK) have a lot to be proud of. I suspect that much of the extreme weather is due to past dramatic increases, and what is currently happening in some parts of the world. Getting rid of global use of coal (conversion to oil/gas) will achieve more than much of the current hot air.

For those vintage holders, it really does feel that the water behind the dam holding the SP down is turning to oil.
This a.m. the MM bought half a million shares at 6.25, despite not selling many at this level recently. Those selling at a profit at this level will soon run out.

Hi All
Surprised the SP did not move a bit more after Crysoar developments, however that is usual for this share.
A major difference is there is now some HOPE. At least over the next six months we wil (should)l find out a lot more, and know a lot more, rather than this endless living in dreary limbo. I don't know any more than any of you, but at least PMO are being refinanced, albeit at the expense and agony of their shareholders.
The recent increase in volume is very encouraging, it may be that a few cracks are appearing in the dam wall, and a few droplets of water (oil) are beginning to trickle over it. Hope is a very powerful motivator, and once a wider audience gains it the SP should increase.
The increasing green pressure on Boris, even from his bedside, means everyone has to get a move on.
Glass over half full, cheer up folks it is more hopeful than over summer

PS I do not have a CSE in Chemistry, but do have a doctorate from a top UK university and a Life of running a research group in the life sciences. However even this does not qualify me to comment on virology (or shares), except that most scientists follow the herd, and of course herd immunity is being built up, it is just how fast and effectively and whether we rely on it or try to suppress the virus.
Navitas will not sign up until after OM award. If derisory, they could squeeze more acreage out of RKH. That is business, no friends or partners.
Its the waiting......but surely we can expect (to a high probability) that OM will be this year, and bigger (net) than our current capitalisation, so logically we should all hold. ...but we are all human and full of fear.

Dear All
The BoD have been extraordinarily silent even by their standards. This may be that they are busy eating hobnobs and playing golf, or a lot is going on behind the scenes.
PMO (and Navitas) know that if OM payout is derisory, RKH will be in a precarious position, and they, being cold businessmen, would extract yet more from RKH (us!), despite all previous promises or agreements, which are simply history.
Hence, no movement on anything until OM is known.
I think Sealion will proceed, my worry is how much we have of it.
I live in hope
