I know nothing about KC ‘s personal life but I do recall the rumours about divorce/shares etc a good couple of years or so back like you say. One simple explanation for the ring on his hand 5months ago could be that he has remarried since.

I missed another encouraging aspect. These options expire in Dec 2025. So, as I see it, the contractor expects the SP to be higher than 10p by then.

I missed the RNS of 1st November but having now read it I am much encouraged. Apart from the fact that these options have been awarded for work designed to boost sales in the Middle East (my words but obvious from what is stated in the RNS in my opinion) it is impressive that they have been issued in lieu of cash for the work in question. In other words, the contractor has accepted options as an alternative to payment in cash. Moreover, the exercise price is 10p, considerably higher that the current SP. To spell it out, it is clear that this contractor, which must have done its due diligence, is confident that the SP will be higher than 10p within whatever timeframe they expect to be paid in (by selling the options/shares to realise cash value). Apologies for the slightly convoluted post but, for myself at least, this does seem pretty encouraging.

The interims on 30/09/24 include pretty encouraging updates in my opinion.

Not much in the way of selling either. Most long term holders are continuing to hold.

There is no need to repeat in separate RNSs what is already included in the interims RNS.

There were various positive references to the performance of contracts and orders being received in the interims RNS as stated.

Despite quoting from the interims issued on 30/09/24 (ie during H2) and despite the very upbeat updates therein relating to the performance of new contracts and orders coming in, you maintain there has been ‘silence’ on such orders in H2. I am sorry, but that is patently untrue.

Albeit slightly irritating that they refer to end of Sept as in the future when we have already arrived. We await the promised results of the geo technical work and revised timeline for the DFS. Got to admit I only posted to get rid of the misleading header to the effect that we missed the CRMA deadline, which is incorrect and misleading (albeit the error was quickly acknowledged). Some folks look in and don’t look any further than the heading and move on if negative.

They did say they were applying in an earlier RNS.

A very confident and upbeat narrative in these results, even if the numbers have yet to flow through to the bottom line much. The loss has narrowed significantly though, so breakeven and profit seems pretty close now.

I don’t class myself as a ramper but I am more than ready to admit that I called this wrong in the short term and DB Punter and others called it right. Just going to grit my teeth and hope this can eventually be turned around. Thank goodness that our major lender is also a major shareholder and the debt is unsecured! Can’t see the lender wanting their 40% plus holding (at a significantly higher price I believe) obliterated even if there is a risk of a takeover before full value is realised.

Why would Nioko have our corner? Because they have over 40% of the shares and will want a return as opposed to a thumping loss, that’s why. You called it right in the short term. Congratulations, but all shareholders are essentially in the same basket, save that the bigger holders have more say. They have obviously forced these changes in management to try to protect their investment and I am sure all shareholders hope they succeed.

At no point did I blame the market makers Skelly. They are just doing what they do.

Skelly - what I said was that if folks kept their nerve and held, the market makers would not be able to generate trades by dropping the price. They would then change tactics and push the price up to encourage sells from those who bought at a lower price and buys from those who see a potential reversal of the trend. Basically they don’t care if they move the price up or down so long as they can generate trades, as I am sure you know. Given the long term trend you mention (which by the way is shared by many other equally promising AIM shares) and that we are at the lowest level we have been for years, despite being much further advanced, it is not unreasonable to suppose that a decent catalyst, such as DFS/off takes, will reverse the trend and quite possibly deliver very significant upside from this level pretty quickly. As I have said, I think that will happen and fairly soon but it’s just my opinion, which quite evidently you don’t share. So be it.
