I remember posting this about the AA " So the price drifts lower ..why ? the basics of shares, MM were never going to get "excited " by bids of 40p, 60p . £1.00 etc they know the real value and the debt is colossal for a mkt cap of £150m .Who ever does buy the AA ( if indeed they do ) will be looking for two things 1/ to purchase at lowest price possible to make any deal viable ( think about the basic principle ,,car seems cheep at £5000., very economical etc..but needs £50000 spent on it ,simplistic but you get the idea ) 2/ financing the deal . ( again think of the conversation with the bank manager to finance the deal ) MM and the market players are key and MM do not like to be caught the wrong side of the market... (they hate rns in the middle of the day ) so will keep the price to reflect certainty or uncertainly in the price . " back Before offer came in of....35p And you wonder why share price of cineworld is 82p ,why ? debt is colossal and times our uncertain, the two biggest drawbacks to any share, you may wish ,hope even demand the price is higher but that is " ostrich " trading along with " Im buying more on the way down" or time to top up ,sorry but thats the best way to loose money i know.....remember Marconi ?
im so disappointed i cant even spell "share " ...lol
it may be a "Great little company keeps delivering" but my nerves have been confirmed ,this share has no traction, sellers appearing already (10000 sells) this shear is a share to sell into any rise NOT buy into and move on... someone selling at 61.3566 as i speak tells all we need to know, such a shame....
Wouldn't take too much notice of Richard Griffiths.....his timing can sometimes be "strange" sold out of DNL last year by Oct at low price..just as share price turned and went higher ....seems to just like "selling " out ..
Totally agree Noeasy, I wrote on another site (advn ) inmate 2019!! "So SEY are looking for a acquisition? Hope they are looking at JOG at 70p mkt cap £12million with ,£14 million cash and possibly good prospects for future oil ,if SEY are really serious about doing something why not bid £1.10 a share ,cost of £18 million ,JOG share holders gain 50 per cent and SEY gains £14 million cash and still have £15 million of there cash left,So they then have brought oil company for ,£5million a no brained to me ???

11:02 ...So the words "boat missed the " come to mind ...
...or put another way, nearly 1/3 of infections and nearly 1/2 of deaths Had the vaccine.....then we wonder why shares like this that require close human contact to make good money are down...really
So having reinvested back here after 6 months with a clear alert to buy last week and some excellent news ( 2 great RNS ) we are heading back to mid/high 60s . Question... why are the mm so reluctant to move up price .. ( my parallel investment DEST mm cant wait to move up price ,check out graph when they have news ) here its as slippery as greasy pole dancer . Question ...why are inverters looking to sell on a rise of a few pence if there are " great things ahead" , this creates a negative psychology ..looking to get out on news and not buy in . So ...And yet i will give the company the benefit of the doubt ....but with a very tight stop loss to protect a small profit,
Lets hope DNL is a good winner too......
So back in Jan i posted "Thanks scoredagainsteps ,always a pleasant discussion on this this thread , ATB and i hope you tell me in 6 months " i told you so " ... " well i think we can call it a draw ..price still in mid /high 60s ( although there was a spike that i missed ..hence the draw ) however good to see you still here and now im reinvest as DNL has come up on my alerts , still weary that they raised more more at 70p and shares fell but lets see...ATB
Barnetpeter, good post, adds a touch of realism , looking at the posts every one seems to blame every thing and everyone, if you brought at say 15-20p why DID you not sell at 25-30 p ? if you brought at 29p ( InsiderKnowledge ) why did your stop loss of say 25p kick in ( A stop loss ...to protect you losing your investment !!! ) cant relive the amount of " investors" still here at 9p ....
Thanks Buffalobeng for a bit of balance , your right, think we do have different life styles ....just think I would hate to be trying to book holiday when half way round the world they are gasping for breath....
So its interesting that the headlines of over 4000 deaths in India with the desperate cry for help and oxygen for 100000`s we in the uk are just moaning that Malta ,usa etc is not on the green list ...dont you just love our society...looks like mankind has a great future together !!!!
World’s Most Vaccinated Nation Activates Curbs as Cases Rise....."Seychelles, which has fully vaccinated more of its population against Covid-19 than any other country, has closed schools and canceled sporting activities for two weeks as infections surge." ...well thats off the green list....and could be hind the static/falling share price..
And to remember about the current vaccines...from those who no more than you and i ...."The current vaccines are highly effective at preventing people from getting seriously sick with COVID-19. However Given the uncertainty and the arrival of more contagious variants, experts say fully vaccinated people should continue to wear masks and social distance in public and when visiting with unvaccinated people at high risk for severe illness if infected.
“We still have to be cautious, the vaccine is essential. But it is not a cure-all that ends the epidemic tomorrow."
If only people followed this we would be out of this mess quicker!,,,,
More "none story news" ...breaking on sky " COVID-19: Lockdown is main reason for drop in coronavirus cases and deaths - not vaccinations, says Boris Johnson" .......
Totally agree Cheated, never ceases to amaze me the selfish attitude of people , we are in the middle of a world pandemic ,
governments are trying to do there best ( some more than others !! ) yet there is no patience the" we must have a holiday abroad at all costs" will never be happy....look out for the first BBC interview of a family " upset " that they rushed to book there holiday to Malaga and now its postponed ..what did they think was going to happen,,,despite what governments say or not say, use your common sense ...
