IF and that's a mighty big if, any money comes in for anything, scamit will have it paid as revenue and then steal as much of it as he can before declaring company bankrupt, thus absolving him of any responsibilities, he's a lying cheating stealing piece of sh it that will always float to the top like scum does
call me impatient
LOL
I've asked for an update from H&L, stating my concerns regarding a lack of tangible progress on the distribution of certificates.
It should not take this long.
"From what you've written, you missunderstand what's happening. This is the initial stage of BT moving out of sport content delivery, not a move to enter it. It means that BT's payments for Football rights, etc, will reduce to zero over time."
urgh, total failure on my part - doh, i got that 100% the wrong way around!!
thx for the correction
or it could be that the market views a lot of these ill-fated "sports channel" ventures in the uk not as a milestone but more of a millstone, I for one am VERY skeptical of pouring a crap load of money into more football bullsh it (which is where a lions share of any money invested will go i'm sure) when the physical infrastructure is in need of or mid way through massive upgrades
I'd be curious to know at what point they become liable for owing us, is it when they get the certificates, or when they put in the official corporate actions notifications - if it's the latter, I can't blame them for wanting to wait till they have the certificates in their hands!
yeah, circa 40+% drop in SP and i don't think the shares in allocation reduced any, this is an absolute dog now, seems to be circling downwards with little light at the end of the tunnel.... this was a bad decission on my part, i'm locked in at a way way higher sp
nothing in my H&L account yet, I had hoped for a corporate action entry with the shares showing nil value, but not yet
what he's getting at is a LOT of pis sed off shareholders in CGH are suddenly in with a chance of getting some of their lost money back, and I for one will be dumping these fairly quickly I suspect
If that is the end of the dip caused by the results, then I didn't quite catch the bottom, as someone said, falling knife always risky to grasp at, I think when all's said and done, i've got a 788 avg including purchase+sales fees
I'm happy enough with that for now, lets see how things go.
ouch, that's not good when you have an organisation like which reporting you, when they have such a publicly recognisable name/brand and well known
in at 786
:|
fingers crossed !
yeah i'm seeing that too Teddy
just passed 800 on live prices, where is this bottoming?
i nearly bought in at 830 :O
"CBB , somehow doubt that will happen , sadly not sure of the rules"
yeah I think you're right, in that once they kick the holding out of your isa that it's tax umbrella is gone period, which is why i was angry when they kicked TEX out of mine when they went private, and they did it right after a placing open offer (after going private - so they kept them in long enough to get any fees from that) having said they wont be moving them out yet, and also saying I could subscribe to more than the allocation, which turned out to be BS....... yet my bellzone mining shares are STILL in my isa, 3 years after they called in the receivers {grrr}
Right now.... I just want the money, i'm watching a couple of shares plummet in the current dip that I want in
Lo I would also report HSBC to the Financial Conduct Authority (www.fca.org.uk) they can not be the nominated broker and then claim the sahre certificates are held in your name, that's not how it works, and if is that's what they are saying then you are well within your rights to ask for your certificates, then you could present them to the CGO Registrar
Fair Points, all of them, and I think we've all wondered a times exactly what they do for us with respect to finding out this sort of information, and it's not the first time tehey've got stff wrong for me either.
but right now, i'll avoid biting the hand that might feed me..... lol
Next question i'll have for them is can I get those shares re-instated in my ISA without having to bed and isa them, at the expense of some of my allowance, given my CGH shares were in my ISA originally
Now I might allow myself to monitor CGO price and do a little looking into it, but, I think i'll be selling as soon as is sensible, I just want my money back, the little extra in profit however I would also like to see
I just got the same message word for word and came to post it, so that is good, because unless i'm mistaken, now they have told us officially, then I think H&L are duty bound to chase it and make sure it comes through to us
some light at the end of a VERY LONG tunnel
that also wouldn't surprise me, although i'm not sure the new board members want to start off on that foot
