RE: Very good results19 Nov 2020 09:40
"Last November, on results day the price tanked amolst 15 %, after reporting a profit, today the markets reaction is positive on the back of reporting a loss."
everything is relative though, I think last year the market excpected more than they deleivered, this year, with the share price in the toilet, along with every finacial market in the world, expectation was much much lower I think, and as it's not all doom and gloom, the market has responded accordingly.
For me, the real indicator will be the next set of results, and AGM where they lay out the future plans for the dividend, I think I said previously I would not expect/be surprised if anything nothing was planned until maybe 2022, but a plan should be put in place, because I am sure there will be many many companies that will see the COVID thing as an excuse to stop paying any dividend, and then not have the incentive to restart it, and that for RMG I think would be a bad idea.
Right now i'm glad I've held, although I certainly could have increased my holding by trading when I was considering it, right now we are considerably closer to what was my long term target of 350 than i'd have thought possible this year.
