yup, we all know what the plans were, but just as 2020 turned into a flat year dividend growth wise, tht could easily be justified to extend

I don't think the dividend will get cancelled, but i like to see these things in writing and confirmed before i count my chickens, however if todays drop is related to that message, then it's over done, this is not a "drift" as you put it, it's as near as dammit a 4% drop on the day, sustained throughout the day, RMG has done the same off of yesterdays good performance

you see the shorter working week makes no sense to me.

you want to work less time yet be paid the same..... no is the answer
they (rmg) want a shorter week to reduce costs, but the job still takes the same amount of time.... no is the answer again

so, until they get the time it takes to do the job down, by whatever "modernisation" they come up with... remember the RM rail network under london was to make thigns quicker, which they've now shut down, then there should be no thought to a shorter working week, because all that happens is your staff have to work overtime... employ for what you need simples.

this problem is by no means one sided, one side is trying to hide the costs by moving it around the books, from contracted hours/costs to overtime... all a fiddle if you ask me to maintain some higher level roles that should be the first to go in cost cutting, and then causes issues like you see now, then there's the union, that seems hell bent on being the tail that wags the dog, if they don't shift the shortsightedness nobody will gain in the long term, as any industry that's had massive union influence over the years... oh yeah, you can't.

yes, that was the plan.... but, if this year has shown us anything, it's that plans change quickly, and until it's announced and ratified, i'd not be counting your chickens....

also, it wouldn't be until around what, march time?.... i'd hardly call that "soon" in the current financial landscape, or political one for that matter, given that we know this share in particular is affected by the political landscape.

I've held this way too long, i've seen profit vanish and i'm now circa 65% in the hole and seeing this as an opportunity to cut my average in half and give me an earlier out point should this show any signs of recovery

that may have been the case, but a 44% dilution and possible change of nominal from 10p to 1p is going to make those climbs to +10p a thing of the past on no news, and will only happen on signing of contracts and transparent release of figures of said contracts, till then not going to happen.

but someone does need to propose a BOD pay cut to assist with the savings due to extremely poor performance in performing their duties.

yeah, always seems to be a possibility, look at some of the companies out there where shares are .0x of a penny, so i'd say there is still scope for a placing, and we're not sub nominal yet! but I know what you mean, i'm sat on a higher avgerage, and need to bring it down, I missed the last low before the 3.5p spike, that had i topped up in that dip, would have allowed me to exit at break even, and now, as it's heading back potentially towards 1.2p i find myself wondering of the possibility of the cycle repeating, but knowing my luck, i'd take the plunge only to watch them do a placing and the price fall further, in the mean time i'm just collecting splinters sat on this fence, but, it's not costing me any more of my hard earned either!!

Topped up recently in EDL only to watch a one day dip and recover mean I could have had millions more shares for the same money, that'd be the sort of luck i'd have here i suspect!.... I got well and truly suckered into this one, I hope parsons has a miserable christmas, he deserves it.

you may be right there Oli, but the cost of loss of customer confidence that may have occurred had lots more staff been furloughed and services affected heavily is something that is not possible to measure, but I suspect it would be there, and would that then affect government decision regarding contracts for test collection/delivery ?... probably
