I think the dilution argument is a mute point, it's happening/happened, the question is whether our part of it is fully subscribed, before whatever is left over is taken up by one of the other larger investors.

And yes, whether the price drops below is another factor

what do you guys think are the chances of you being able to request over your allotment of shares ?

I wanted to average down anyway, before this open offer, and was thinking at about this price point, but as i hold a comparatively low volume of shares now i want a fair bit more than the amount i'm able to guarantee, do you think there'll be plenty of scope for more, or is it going to be easier to buy on the open market

Be careful with H&L they've made a mess of this sort of thing before, I took an open offer up, and applied for extra, which they said would be available/was an option, they took the money for all then only gave me the open offer shares, and none of the others and refunded the difference, but i'd called them specifically regarding additional, and only taking the open offer wasn't really worth it as it was low volume, turns out they misread the info and no extra shares would be available, it was open offer ones only - they offered to just reverse the whole deal, which was good, but still very poor service from them.

If they cut out the Pi's and trades grind to halt because the big boys have loaded up and Pi's are ****ed off, then there could well be a slide in SP, we all know how these things go, placing at mates rates usually results in a lower shareprice soon after if no news is forthcoming and sentiment turns negative.

Personally, I think given that it hasn't been released yet, there is going to be no open offer for us mere mortals.

I can't see any offer coming in that would be below 50%, there is no way anyone will want to leave craproach with any controlling power, any due diligence they do will see the history and results record, of which the only thing he's managed to accomplish whilst squandering shareholders money, is keep the lights on, purely so he can milk it more. The finacing is now so complicated and convoluted with all the funding schemes in place, it'll take months and months and a lot of cash for someone to sort out even before they make an offer, only thing we'll see multiple of in the next 2 to 3 years is placings.

In the mean time, please keep ramping and pumping this, one little bit of good news and i might break even and be able to get out before craproach announces the next shareholder raping that would follow, like night follows day.

sounds like the mexicans want someone else to prove the ground, then they'll simply refuse mining licences so their companies can have it all, yeah that's a speedy way to cripple interest in your country

Perhaps Uncle_Doug, but it's never a good thing when a broadcaster or platform over reaches on sports to the detriment of everything else, and i suspect there's a cautious approach to this news

I think as someone below suggested, it's more a token gesture to PI's and it'll likely be very limited and of limited value, i'm going to sit and watch what the SP does today, so many times it will drift to the placing price and then you can just buy more as you normally would with no restrictions

well said, and some of us are on averages that are multiples of where we are now because we weren't prepared to throw more money away after consolidation, which.... yup... we're now in negative after that if i'm not mistaken too!

thank you for that, it all sounds very positive on the surface, but there's a little voice in the back of my head that's saying "house of cards" and has the feeling of someone trying to offload something before it blows up in their faces
