RE: The ML Decision: A Matter of When, Not If19 Mar 2025 08:09
Like to say it was planned but it was down to luck.
I was at an average SP of around 15p when the Placing dropped the price to an all time low and decided to average right down by buying a large chunk.
It was brave because it worked. If it hadn't, it could have seemed like stupidity.
Anything, good or bad, can happen in AIM. Just be prepared for it and don't invest (or gamble), what you would lose sleep over.
As a word of caution, I would suggest you only invest in AIM as a minor part of a balanced portfolio that includes cash, bonds, investment trusts and FTSE 350 investments. Consider your own risk profile.
AIM can be considered akin to betting on a horse in the Grand National. You get better odds on an outsider but it is more likely to fall, break it's leg or end up finishing riderless.
