Even accepting that $60m equates to 17% of He1 valuation that actually translates into an sp of 2.7p or MC of £266m. Even so I would be happy to see 2.7p again!

Though I am afraid that the assumption is a little overly simplistic, after all, He1 has spent a lot more than $60m to date and yet the market perceives their 83% to be currently worth circa £50m and that includes the assets in Galactica. So whilst is it easy to see where the $60m comes from I am afraid there is no direct correlation.

And new treatment trials cost money - something neither the Govt nor Scancell currently has a lot of; certainly no money not already committed.

And very few retail investors have access to it. Moreover Aquis stocks are not eligible for most Tax Wrappers (SIPPs, ISA's etc).

Helium is irreplaceable in MRI machines, semiconductor manufacturing, fibre optics, and the emerging infrastructure of AI and quantum computing. There is no substitute. And geological helium producers like Blue Star are becoming increasingly critical to solving the supply equation.

Unfortunate but very true ratcliffe.... maybe SCLP is the exception that proves the rule?

Triplestar, personally I think it is less about what this says regarding "reserve volume" and far more about the "commercialisation" and "funding".... "reserve volumes" could be huge but unless it can be extracted, effectively and profitably it will stay in the ground. Furthermore I do not think there has been any doubt for quite some time that there is a huge reserve of Helium in the rift valley but considerable doubt about the other two factors - that is exactly why the He1 sp is where it is.

What sort of news are you expecting? Let's face it there are only two possible outcomes, a buyer for either of our Indian "asset" or farm in partner for MCC. And we could well end up waiting for hell to freeze over before we get either. In the meantime we have a BoD twiddling their thumbs and tending the garden.

Quite right sebo, far too long to have significant sums tied up here any longer; the opportunity cost is far too high. I sold out of more than half my holdings earlier this week to diversify into other opportunities. I am sure I won't be the only one.

A really encouraging day, not the greatest of volumes (that we can yet see at least) BUT good independent commentary and few small trades at above 14.0p - now registering the highest sp of the year at 14.35p. I might be tempted to add a few tomorrow.

What on earth are you talking about? The current spread is 0.61 - 0.64p and last trade was at 0.64p. So NOT down at all. And volumes good relative to recent very quiet days.

So the sp should get a double injection of momentum and positivity today. Here's hoping for a great day - it's been a while.

In truth Stuart this share had done the best part of 100% between May and September of last year and then another 66% between December 2025 and now; so an opportunity to have made quite a significant return.

Irony of ironies this is the one thing that dear old Toffers was always rattling on about and, lo and behold, it arrives only weeks after she jumps ship for QHE!!

The timing of this is not likely to be random; the Ministry of Mining is not likely to announce such an arrangement with such fanfare only for it then to be seen to be a "damp squib". I think we will see some significant momentum to events from here. Indeed a JV / Farm-in for Songwe would need MoM approval, so I would not be surprised to see an announcement of this nature, or similar, to be announced very soon.
