Just took a twist for the good to me with that scancell quote about mRNA not being able to contain more than one antigen and our immuoBody of course capable of containing multiple (can't remember off top me ed how many SCIB1 has 4) .....

Now makes sense why no mRNA n targeting vaxs have appeared... you would need a shot of both....

Add that to the other mRNA issues and the advantages of DNA.... again the data has to really back but... we could see a real paradigm shift if scancell pulls this off..... This has already been waved right in front of Sahin too at his own conference... hmmmm ... gonna get super interesting I think

mRNA can only incorporated a single antigen including a second antigen would require the development of a second separate mRNA vaccine, Covidity can incorporate multiple antigens in one vaccine....

probably a combination of both?..... It certainly makes sense to complete the trial in SA as well as have the UK p2 arm and was an initiation RNS puzzle why that did not look like original plan... I'm sure they will find enough volunteers with Cape Uni support but still... if the vax is trial-ready sooner rather than later would be better just in case... plus if we are all heading for 4th waves by years end and boosters gonna be a thing... could be perfect timing if the data is coming out 'unrivalled'

Need to get their skates on... It is good news that increased vaccine supply is coming to SA and of course any vaxs are going to welcome there as they suffer a terrible 3rd wave so I expect Covidity to get strong official support in SA ... however we don't want to be caught in the situ of running out of patients to dose so I think for the trial to be dosing by Sept would be a good timeline if practical...

I don't think there is a history of redmile doing takeovers that isn't their way... they could have done it with Redx I believe but didn't.... I do think their probable plan which of course like all of ours is open to change is to get trials running get techs developed up to clinical stage (MaBs) get commercial deal/s list on NASDAQ for billions and then begin to divest at a whopping profit.... the one thing in their strategy that I am certain of is the whopping profit part I get the worry that they may not want to take us all the way along for that but like I say they don't have a history of doing that kind of dirty.

It seems logical that some form of deal with either CEPI or and an Industry partner must be at an advanced stage as Covidity is going into p1/2 trial in SA with a part 2 arm also in the UK.... team Notts can go no further than that and if 'unrivalled' data is coming out (as we hope) there is no way it can be left on a shelf.... It would need to go further rather rapidly....CEPI still has not spent any of their 200 million on such candidates..... The industry still going to be interested seeing as how much money the first gens are making $$$....

My personal feeling is either Cliff has to leave for personal reasons... or he was not up to the workload and Lindy probably felt she was doing much of the CEO job anyways..... possibly this was noticed by other BOD members too as this period will have undoubtedly been the busiest in scancells entire history
