Indeed it was needed now to shift the SCIB1 combo elephant...no deal was forthcoming on SCIB1 or at least no deal scancell were happy in doing at this stage,however it seems there is a lot of interest in the combo trial from interested parties...moditope is a different kettle of fish as it were from the OO RNS: 'The Company is continuing discussions on potential commercial partnership discussions for the Moditope� platform alongside its clinical development plans, with multiple partnering discussions in progress.' So it seems commercial action can be expected on moditope especially with a patent in place...

Some of us remember the day it was thought the moditope patent had been withdrawn as someone posted a link on here where anyone (most of us) who did not know how the process worked could have come to that conclusion in reality it was just part of the normal process of patent filing... but it had an instant effect on sp ... pi started selling by the afternoon they were buying again lol... but just goes to show the non granting of a patent really does have sp effect!... I think granting of modi patent will be big news and effect sp it will also allow scancell to be a little more revealing about the platform LD once saying lots to tell us but till patent she wont and she knows and we don't or something like that... so a great milestone for us to pass a securing of IP and wow that IP is something and now with this new tech which I'm sure we will all be introduced to much more in the coming months we should be in for a much more relaxed and enjoyable year than past ones.

BioNtech bring their techs that Genentech do not have...of course ultimately we could all be under the Roche umbrella... going to be interesting to see how it folds out

We should not forget BioNtech has some big pharma partners including Genentech...we already see the top scientists from both working under our Lindy... we could be in for some kind of multi-tie up the coming together of many techs possibly ISA too etc

The kind of deal scancell could do with BioNtech might be more about getting the tech into trial and then share a large chunk of commercial profits which could well be huge... so yeah maybe not massive upfront payments from BioNtech but a tech taken through trial and made commercial.

A very big piece of the jigsaw in place... we knew it was on it's way but till it is there in black and white and legal it retains risk...seems that risk is now removed and moditope a platform already being worked on with BioNtech and Genentech and who knows possibly others.....is now ripe for a commercial deal :)

Sentiment :) I think our BOD have done some market testing with their raisings but due to the nature of what it is they are doing and that it really is a novel area means we are basically laying the beds for our crops to bloom... 3 trials people!! At the very least 5 targets and we already know SCIB1 works and has value, therefore, validating the whole ImmunoBody platform so we should have a confidence in those 2 combo trials the science fits the animal data supports and the product has already proven itself in man and in fact outperformed mice data!...moditope the big unknown but come on LD knows her stuff so much so that the top scientists from both Biontech and Genentech are happy to be led by her to me that is the most validating moment on the whole journey so far.... the best in the field recognise our CSO is worth following ....the great thing for us is this field has only just begun ... buy em hold em in 2 years all data in.

At least we are not in that other baby bio :)...yes all funds raised here will go on IP value adding we know that and is interesting how LD has now brought more of her work into scancell something I think I suggested could one day happen though did not think so soon lol...which seems to me scancells ambitions are beginning to look BIG agree with JC strategy wise only gripe with him is he has failed to do a commercial deal so far yet has been indicating one is on its way..I think of calculus's other bio C4X they were promising a deal for months and indeed delivered well done them and well done calculus for another shrewd investment... I have little doubt our time is coming and I get any deal on moditope is going to be very likely transformational as we will not do anything cheap or be restricting on that platform Lindy will not let that baby go :) which is why I feel patent is key no one is going to enter into the kind of deal I expect without it in place...if its all done and dusted by AGM JC becomes the hero and this raising will mean SCIB1 is fully funded to get it to the data we need to pull off a deal on it.... wonder what news next!... still waiting to hear more on nanovescile delivery and we have not been properly introduced to the new techs which I noticed CH mentioned may also go forwards with a partner too... so much going on we never know about till we do but certainly Immunotheraphy is now on the map and the pharmas are realising they need Immunotherapists! Which means us having possibly the if not one of the best in LD puts us in a very enviable position indeed.... unlike that other bio scancells in-house developed techs really do have value beyond propping up BOD lifestyles :)

Think you have pulled ahead of me now :) still I might nibble away to get to 130k not sure....Im happy enough with my holding now and buying more will depend on if the sp continues to remain low...which it might not! Patent possible next month... newsflow certainly will not be drying up here and this being scancell expect surprise RNSs that we never imagined of course that JC has plenty of skin in the game does no harm for us all he wants his big return too but how far are we away from commercial... we have heard noises of it for a long while now yet when it comes to it we do not do the deal/s so for JC I think this is the year he needs to deliver!

I took my full OO of 6k and asked for 1k more so probably now have 7k more SCLPs and also now a 19p average...like you not happy we ended up with more dilution and at 12p when sp seemed set to push 20p but there we go we could not get a satisfactory deal on SCIB1 before we needed the funds for combo and the time to pay for it has arrived...pressure off scancell now they can get that trial started and have enough funds to complete it really but we know funds will also be spent on moditope which is now in manufacture and will go into trial and our new techs too.... It still seems there will be a moditope deal/s with the patent being key and that ought to arrive next month... grand challenge November which we have a very strong chance of success in and BioNtech TCR also looking good for commercial action ... so still much can happen here in the rest of the year and indeed a multi bagging could still occur...So way I see it is scancell needed money right now to take away the combo elephant and to put our IP in an even stronger position plus I dare say so Chippers could have a bigger slice of cheap pie :) ....anyone in discussions about moditope now see scancell have enough funds to manufacture it and at least get it into a small trial by themselves that is going to only strengthen our hand in those negotiations as seems Genentech very much like to be fully involved from the beginning of techs they make deals on..best thing really though 3 trials in at least 5 cancers...for a company so tiny in mcap as us that is remarkable indeed and that every one of those trials has a strong chance of success will not go unrewarded in the end.
