BioBtech deal ought to change everything... a piece of scancell tech valued by a respected outsider ... we will get to know what price is attached to a modi in target in a pre clinical setting... of course we have to do the deal first :)... but BioNtech is very hungry... did you view the vid I posted earlier?

start from 6.35.... our collaboration was already happening probably our combo trial will get much more coverage and exposure than SCIB1 mono simply because... Keytruda... and then throw in the whole US top clinicians and clinics... it is a long game but we are approaching goals..

The Swiss-Italian company Philogen has announced three different partnerships with Novartis, Celgene, and Janssen to develop new forms of immunotherapy and small molecule drugs.

Philogen develops immunocytokines, which are antibodies that are fused with proteins that modify the immune system to fight diseases such as cancer. For example, this treatment can bind to tumors and activate passing immune cells, leaving the rest of the body unharmed and causing fewer side effects than regular cytokine therapies for cancer.

“Immunocytokines are currently a hot topic in the field of oncology and chronic inflammation and virtually all big pharma companies are active in this area,” a representative from Philogen told me.

Which was exactly the situation before the appointments... the modi1 trial was never fully covered but it is going to begin...as for filling your boots up some traders will have done very well here this week... and on Monday's news, I still say the future is looking exciting here...Scancell are growing -into what and funded by, still to be answered.... but my take is if your not filling your boots up.. hold em tight:)

Can only agree with nana.. what is wiggy going on about modi being sacrificed!!!?? Bonkers is the word that comes to mind,,, modi1/Amplivant trial is pivotal.. and will be being as fast tracked as is possible... it has to be perfect before going into trial though... scancell think they have nailed it and tox studies were to be carried out end of Nov 2018... so we should expect that trial is ON!.... TCR is same as CI it is a case of use playing with the big boys until we are big enough to tell them how things need to be ;)

It is a good job they did not get to the finals of GC imagine the sp effect of that on them!

'Bristol-Myers Squibb has lost yet more ground in its ongoing cancer immunotherapy battle with rival Merck.

Along with its earnings, the pharma firm reported Thursday that it has pulled a key approval application to use a combo regimen of its already approved immunotherapies, nivolumab (Opdivo) and ipilimumab (Yervoy), in a portion of patients with newly diagnosed, advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Specifically, Bristol (NYSE: BMY) said that, upon discussions with the FDA, it needs more data to support the approval filing. The problem: Bristol needs to provide additional evidence for “the relationship between [tumor mutational burden] and PD-L1”—two biomarkers meant to help identify patients who might respond to immunotherapy—to really tell if the Bristol regimen is helping patients live longer.

To get that information, Bristol needs more results from the large, ongoing Phase 3 study called Checkmate-227. Those results are expected in the first half of this year, but that’s too late under the current review cycle for the ipi-nivo application, which ends on May 20. As a result, Bristol will have to re-file the application afterwards.

Bristol shares fell about 3.6 percent in pre-market trading on Thursday.'

It is promising... however there could be other none deal angles on that...as in project blue print might be alive but we have to carry our burden ourselves.........I prefer deal route myself though:?

Many unproven ... later to be failed techs have pharma splashed out 10's even 100's of millions on?...
Even in that recent Merck article... they did a deal with a company to do combos with Keytruda... spent a right pretty penny on it and it turned out to be a failure... though in the article the Merck guy says he suspected it would be a failure from the beginning duh

The techs scancell have are novel and disruptive.. they can create there own market... at the moment most treatments have side effects some of them rather severe and also high failure rates... it is possible scancell can change that so this is why valuations at this stage are meanigless what we do need is proof of data though... same as Juno and Kite did in trials of less than 20 patients... of course deal/s can be done on the way too... so for instance if BioNtech do (and please do!) a TCR deal we all get to know what value they attach to a scancell product and we also know we have more products ... we are still at a very early stage even though it feels like it has taken a lifetime to get just here!

lol we would all love to get to 8 quid... the thing is for us to get there things need to happen... but if we are at 8 quid on modi 1 working very compellingly in 3 indications... well then I think you would be wise to hold on to a core of shares because moditope as a platform would be huge... plus ImmunoBody platform and company plans as well lets face it scancell rolling in cash would be a very different company with many plans and the ability to carry them out

Do these calculations of valuations work out on the likes of Juno or Kite etc???.... surely here it will be market that values scancell and at moment AIM says 8p..... You can really see how Lindy wanted to take moditope private backed by private money.. who knows where it might be now with that kind of backing... Have Genentech, BioNtechs and ISAs values gone down for not winning a prize on a contest that was not fundamental in any way to any company plans ,I think not! Yet AIM did not value scancell getting to a final 10 of that competition against 140 entrants and the revealing of the esteemed company scancells CEO keeps or the breadth and potential of project blueprint... Only outside validation in the form of commercial activity will change things here and then you could even end up with an over valuation!
