In the background... Genentech/Roche... I can't connect the dots there as well as the BioNtech ones.. but they are there... in scancells last RNS:

C7 could it be that as a pre-requisite for a deal scancell would have to take on such members BioNtech are serious about trials and fast commercialisation... they do not mess around- infact one thing from all this is how impressive a company BioNtech are and are becoming... they are moving at an unbelievable pace and seemingly getting into everything!... they would not have been able to do any of that having been listed on and requiring to raise funds from AIM though lol...

As for sp yeah... what can we say this is AIM and scancell are still a company that has not had any of its IP independently valued ... What I think we can say is just one commercial deal or a none dilutive and impressive funding event means we all will end up holding much more valuable shares... if we had the power of foresight we could all have ended up holding a lot more lol... I've been here years and bought far too many in the 30's .. I've accepted it is a long game this one but we may be approaching our first real market awakening goals... At least Chippers is still underwater and I'm buying em cheaper than him now lol

Good to see you back.. clearly something is happening here.. my 1+1 makes the case that at least part of it is looking like we are about to do a licensing deal with BioNtech for the use of moditope in their TCR program.. I accept there are alternative takes...Lindy abandoning moditope and modi1 trial being 'sacrificed' are alternative takes but come on! lol...there may be other more real ones and I am happy to hear them...

There are lots of other things going on too it was very good to hear scancell are still confident of SCIB1 combo trial beginning H1 ...modi1 continues its progress of going into trial this year too... we have a new novel MABs pipeline which we have heard very little on yet... but we just saw BioNtech buying up a MAB company so that is an area of much commercial interest too...

The big question is the eternal one... funding- I feel we would not have taken on these new members of staff and that they would not have come over to scancell from the positions they were already in if that issue was not an issue...

Competition.... I admit I cannot time any deal between BioNtech/scancell.. everything might be going reallly well but need more and more lab work....
however...as I said BioNtech has the cell therapy facilities and invested millions in them and they are actively recruiting staff right now to fill them... what for? no trials?...
But a great driver is when your mates come in for the action too... and Genentech just did that!.... who of these close companies is going to be the TCR first?......

Of course, there may be other scenarios this is scancell lol but that is my case for the BioNtech licensing deal is coming... one thing... no way is this Lindy stepping away from moditope! No that is 'out there' Sam has stepped away from Immtacs though and I'm sure that was not easy.

Oh, and we know no funding for TCR trials is coming from a prize given by CRUK :)
So the obvious is a licensing deal with BioNtech ... where we get to eat a piece of $270 million pie... notice the word 'therapeutics' is used so we can surmise it will more than one target...upfront payment and milestone payments.... I'd expect them to get into trial fast... what is the point of empty clean rooms eating away at your money... TCR trial would produce results in weeks...

We are an AIM share with an IP that has not been valued-yet... It feels to me BioNtech will set the valuation ball rolling and it will all be different from then on... All I know is BioNtech have done no TCR trials yet have shiny 'clean' labs they have invested millions in and are recruiting staff to fill them ... and have stated TCR is the area they are looking to buy in techs... as per vid... is it 1+1... wish I could say it were.. but the signs are good...once AIM gets just one product valuation the whole game changes
