If SCIB1 combo does as it ought with the SCIB1 mono data (over 5 years survival) backing it we should be in a very interesting position especially seeing as it is a market battleground in the CI space Merck could soon lose its number one spot

you would think not.. though they have up to now made no move :).... Lets hope the FDA niggles are over and they are happy with the answers from scancell/Ichor...I see no reason they would not be and nor do scancell...also using TRigrid2 a commercial device will be vital in 'doing that deal'

Puts us in a good position on a successful SCIB1 combo... PD1 players really need help in making their PD1s more effective and TCR players, in fact, everyone in immuno oncology are really struggling to find the cancer-specific antigens... mostly spending billions on computer systems to try and find them when scancell seemingly have a much simpler natural but scientifically sound method...we are positioned well ....just need the breaks now really....

BTW I was thinking about project blueprint... I think we were wrong about a TCR element to it... it was going to be BioNTech/Genentechs mRNA and moditope -modi3 vaccine.... I think it would have been much like this :

Fifteen patients newly diagnosed with glioblastoma took part in the study, which was funded with a €6M grant from the EU. The results showed that the vaccines were able to induce responses of the immune system against the tumors.

Equally important was to prove that it is feasible to treat patients individually with personalized treatments. “The logistical challenges in such actively personalized immunotherapy trials are significant,” Harpreet Singh, CSO of Immatics Biotechnologies, told me. “When we conceived the idea of the trial years ago, some people said this is logistically near to impossible. We now know it is possible.”

Immatics, which coordinated the trial, was responsible for selecting the targets of the first vaccine. The German company BioNTech, vice-coordinator of the study, was responsible for the second vaccine.

Both companies are now looking at translating the results of this trial into their own personalized immunotherapies. BioNTech has been running trials with personalized vaccines made with messenger RNA technology, whereas Immatics is looking at developing cell therapies.

FDA Ichor issue confusion.. my take on what has happened is scancell have met everything and submitted everything the FDA require.. and In communications between scancell and Ichor,Ichor have informed scancell they have done the same and everything looks to be in order... it seems they both have to independently send in asked for information...So what Ichor do is not in scancells hands

Your entitled to those thoughts and many are going to be shared by many..... a lot of disgruntled LTH... fundamentals here are solid scancell has immense science with validating collaborations and all the potential it may bring....the rest i.e communication to market(us) etc yeah... what can we say.... I'm happy to say Cliff did have a little email conversation with me today... nothing given away in it of course but at least he did his best to answer some if not all my queries

No it is ph3 trials scancell could never afford...

It is why though sp/mcap is daft this share retains value... there are those out there that will pay for scancells science...

'Harnessing neoantigens for the development of cancer vaccines
Project Description
Neoantigens are antigens that are encoded by tumor specific mutated genes. They are of considerable interest in immunotherapy because they can be used to develop vaccines against cancer, in combination with checkpoint blockade therapy. Citrullination (the deamination of arginine) of vimentin gives rise to a neoantigen in melanoma and is a potential vaccine target. We have previously shown that some MHC class II molecules can engage in non-classical peptide loading and potentially access neoantigens in unique loading compartments.
In this project, we will investigate how neoantigens such as citrullinated vimentin are processed and presented to the immune system by a subset of MHC molecules. We will use this knowledge to improve the effectiveness of cancer vaccines under development by Scancell.
Training
Working in Durham with an industrial partner, Scancell, you will use cell and tissue models, including humanized murine melanomas, to define the trafficking routes of MHC-neoantigen presentation by confocal microscopy, biochemical assays, antigen presentation assays and next generation mass spectrometry (proteomics). You will also be trained in transferable skills such as report/thesis writing, IT and data analysis, and presentation skills. You will have the opportunity to visit the industrial partner and present work at international scientific meetings.'

'Numerous approaches have been undertaken to develop ways of stimulating the cellular immune response to eradicate tumours, known as cancer vaccines or immunotherapy. Both the selection of the antigen expressed by the tumour and subsequent recruitment of CD4 and CD8 T cells; in combination with the delivery technology used to promote transfection of the DNA/RNA and delivery of the encoded RNA/DNA antigen to antigen presenting cells (APCs) are vital to an effective vaccine. Simple injection without a delivery system fails to transfect sufficient APCs to generate an immune response.

This project is to combine world-leading expertise in drug delivery and cancer immunology. Specifically, we will test our hypothesis that targeting RNA/DNA to lymphoid tissue through the use of intradermal delivery with microneedles and nanocomplexes will increase the uptake and translation of RNA/DNA by APCs.

Based on complexation of DNA/RNA with a cationic polymer or liposome, we will optimise the DNA or RNA polymer and lipid ratios to create a range of nanocomplexes. Next, uptake and translation in vitro of the nanocomplexes will be evaluated in dendritic cells. Bioluminescence imaging will then be used to monitor RNA and DNA targeting/translation to lymphoid tissue in vivo and anti-tumour studies conducted in collaboration with Scancell (https://www.scancell.co.uk/).

This project is a collaboration between academics in the School of Pharmacy (ranked 6th in the 2018 QS World Rankings for pharmacy and pharmacology) and Scancell (Cancer Immunotherapy SME).'

The progress on moditope a platform whos announcement sent sp to 60p.. has been immense and like I say our RNSs contain the words CRUK Karolinska BioNTech ISA and Genentech.... I do not think moditopes progress is going unnoticed by those we need it to be noticed by.......
