Way I think of it is, would I encourage family and friends to buy scancell at this moment in time and I have to say no I would not..yet I myself will be nibbling a few more next week barring transformational news of course:) and that is the thing If scancell say for arguments sake get the BioNtech deal in the bag or indeed any other form of transformational news of which there are a number of potentials just BioNtech being the most obvious one, then I would happily tell everyone who might listen buy buy buy scancell!!... The potential here remains massive the risk of it going from 5p to 4p to 3p is also very very real.... so no I'll take the risk myself but for anyone else, it would be DYOR... and indeed many AIM investors are willing to take a punt on the risk/reward as we know day of such news everything but most importantly for us sp changes for ever...roll on tomorrows RNS :)

The genegun using gold particles I think has been used for a long while this is from scancells paper regarding pre clinical SCIB1 plus PD1 combo:
HLA-DR4 mice (Taconic, USA) were used, aged
between 8 and 12 weeks, and cared for by the staff at
Nottingham Trent University. All work was carried out
under a Home Office approved project license. DNA (1µg/
mouse) was coated onto 1.0µm gold particles (BioRad,

Obviously, there is a move away from Ichor and the need of Electroporation (hurrah) exactly how and using whos tech we are still very much in the dark about... could well be something developed by Lindy and others at Notts uni..

I have read that article and it is another good insight with possible therapy outcomes...Ira quoted again:

So true about the mechanisms... moditope being one... but one that is not just seen in humanised mouse models but also in donated human bloods from both healthy and cancer suffering donors... And Sahin and Lindy are using healthy human blood to find TCR candidates targeting neo antigens with CD4 killers...

Yes well the words 'Rapid discovery' ... are appealing considering from 2015 with Lilly they have not seemingly found much at all... anyways we could find out more about that as May 14th I think the paper is published... possible it has nothing to do with the scancell collab or everything to do with it... but shows BioNtech are still working hard around their TCR program and we know they are willing to do deals on it too... before May?

It seems scancell are not particularly that bothered with pi pr... not that they are impolite to us they will answer emails... selectively though lol but as far as keeping us fully in the loop that seems not to be a priority I think it is a mistake and has cost us all including scancell themselves as with more effort it is possible they could have maintained a higher sp by attracting new investors and holding on to them......we know the science must get priority but when the tin gets rattled our mcap matters a lot!

We are not knowingly at but of interest is the CIMT one in Mainz Germany at end of May... a very heavily BioNtech involved one with an ISA presence too and our mate Christian Ottensmeier from Southampton speaking too... but an intriguing poster that is being presented by BioNtech there has the title:

Yes deadly that is what I mean about a new website one that can list all upcoming events scancell are attending etc...not been able to find any of the more finance focused ones scancell may be attending this year... I did notice from photos the last one Cliff did which was LSX Nov 2018 Chippers also attended ...I also note Lindy was meant to do the forthcoming icvis event but handed it to Katherine which is fine seeing as she is as intimate with moditope as anyone else and Lindy is doing the Oxford one a couple of days before... she also seems to not be bothering doing the international circuit this year apart from the Swedish awards event which I understand too but wonder does it also signal there is no longer as much need as soon modi1 trial will be fully funded.... can but hope!

Yes, the Glioblastoma was from the same source which incidentally is where the latest moditope papers are from too strange these ImmunoBody ones have not been added to the website but for some reason not...

The sp which is terrible no 2 ways about that and ALL of us know it and have been RIGHT about it... with no news to drive it up it will go down, yes we all know it!! ...as it is sentiment driven then we have had some very bad luck issues with the FDA delay and with City financial sell-off...the scientific progress has not halted at all if it had I'd be super worried... Could scancell do more ? Yes I think they could, of course, their focus is very much the science and diverting the small funds this company has elsewhere has to be weighed up however it seems Lindy is grafting away at getting the message of the science out to the people who she needs to get it too... Are Cliff and Chippers grafting as hard? I'm not sure... of course they will know how close to any form of funding we are and from any emails I've had off them or seen they give of the impression they are 'on it' ...Be nice to see a better more up to date website at least.

Shame scancell don't much publicise how much is going on and how broad our pipeline really is in it's multi product from 3 platforms abilities to target multiple cancer targets at different disease stages in combinations with other treatments or in indeed in mono setting..... hopefully these 2 new ImmunoBodies will attract further funding to get them into the clinic.

' As a result of the highly promising preclinical results shown, the ImmunoBody® vaccination is currently being studied in a phase I/II clinical trial for melanoma. As a result the ImmunoBody® DNA vaccine has been selected as our method of vaccination. Syngeneic C57BL/6 mice and humanized C57BL/6 HHDII/DR1 mice were used to assess the TRP-2 and WT-1 directed ImmunoBody® vaccines. Mice were vaccinated biolistically with the ImmmunoBody® plasmid coated onto gold particles using a gene gun. An initial priming dose was given on day 0 followed by a boost on days 7 and 14. Mice were vaccinated with either a TRP-2-ImmunoBody®, a WT-1-ImmunoBody® or a combination of the two. The immune response generated was determined by ex vivo IFN-? ELISpot using splenocytes derived from the spleen of immunized animals. Results from these dual vaccination experiments reveal that it is possible to use both of these vaccines in tandem without losing the specificity towards each vaccine-containing peptide. High level of peptide-specific IFN-?-releasing cells were detected directly ex vivo and the ability of these IFN-?-releasing cells to recognize targeT-cells that naturally express the WT-1 and TRP-2 antigens is being investigated. The efficacy of TRP-2-ImmunoBody® with or without PD-1 at treating syngeneic orthotopic GL-261Luc2 tumors implanted in C57BL/6 mice is also currently being assessed. The combination of the two vaccines will also be assessed in the humanized HHDII/DR1 mice using a humanized B16 cell line that has had murine Beta-2m knocked out and HHDII and HLA-DR1 knocked in. Anti-PD-1 checkpoint blockade will also be incorporated into this vaccination regime with the aim of boosting the antitumor immune response.'
