I remember originally right back to investors day scancells plans for a moditope trial would exclude anyone who was also suffering with RA .... this I believe since changed? after further continuous research and who knows possibly Karolinska work and is no longer thought to be an issue.... you can never know enough if you are going to be taking a novel product into a 'make or break' trial.... the downfall of many a product and a reason I think makes scancell different with their very much science first approach...

Boom do you know if it is a pretty straightforward process to profile and identify the most 'likely responders'? I'm thinking of modi1 trial.. that might even happen fairly soon -near to distant term:) Also the work being done to look at potential reasons patients may not respond due to T Regs and how to possibly overcome that.

So much work is going into getting moditope right and if it only ever gets one chance to prove itself at a trial ... which at the moment is where we are at we need it to be getting to those most likely to respond...

I doubt there will cross overs of techs.. Chippers and Lewis for instance already involved with multiple other bios with their own techs... I think it will be more about her experience and contacts book and possible influence too... maybe she is showing Cliff how to sign off that BioNtech deal lol... I dunno

Yes, I think it is quite clear this is the first Diggle led influence ... not sure what Frohn ever did for us??? Not sure what Ursula will do either lol but she is well connected and experienced and must have impressed Martin already and anything she can bring here would be of value as the others of non team science have certainly not brought 'value' to scancell....
BTW I do hope we get that US SCIB1 combo arm but it is totally in FDAs hands and they are a force of mystery... Just hope we manage to get a patient dosed at the moment!...As I have said it is looking to be a very dragging trial... imagine it data from first patient and last patient 5 years apart! That's what it is in danger of becoming.... may as well be classed as an extension of the first trial and maybe get CI combo data from 5 or 6 patients in Notts to add to whole understanding of SCIB1... hopefully more newsflow yet to come this year... be great if SCIB2 got a progress boost from CRUK for instance

C7 think the exchange of ii shares is probably the scenario there it's done and we don't know from who to whom

Yeah attracted to scancell ... why?... well we know why it is why we are all attracted I'll say it again someone put a price on the market value worth of say Checkpoint inhibitors? well you would be talking many many billions$$$$ doubt Merck would sell Keytruda for anything less than $20billion and probably many times more (not that they will!) and that is kinds of values you could attach to the potential of scancell products... all scancell IP too ... yet on flip... no one (meaning pharma/big bio) has made a money in move .... and the SCIB1 combo trial has become an Albatros

I did notice in Lindys Boston presentation next month.... ' will shorty enter the clinic' ... no H1 2020 :) but most of the bits of getting that trial to be a reality I think are now in place so... hope

Indeed boom... which it is why I put 'hope' on everything! ...modi1 is now supposed to begin h1 2020... will it? dunno ... hope so... and if there are any delays I hope those are purely scientific ones making sure the chances of failure are as minimal as possible... as for Chippers... I think we probably feel the same :)
All I can say nothing here has been valued beyond AIM and until it is I think it is very undervalued but if it never does get valued then ... pfft ...

Something to say about this one weeks small piece of news ...Ursula arriving.... as she says 'at this exciting time' one the sp has not seen lol... however she would not IMHO joining a sinking ship... she has been on that before and I'm sure has no desires to be on one again.... also note the mention of 'latestage' modi1 trial is coming and it is going to be massive for this company and we hope for all of oncology if that data is what it could be... also that trial I would say is going to be funded even if that means Vulpes funding it alone... Marting Diggle almost certainly being pivotal in bring in Ursula... still my hope 'cough' (Genentech) some big player comes in to take the cost and a certain amount of risk from modi1..... still all very much risk/reward here ... potential rewards absolutely massive... put a price on 'checkpoint inhibitors' that's the potential... and the risks? well we could end up bust as I say that modi1 trial (hopefully on time) is going to be massive....

No doubts about it the SCIB1 combo trial saga has and continues to do scancell no favours .... AGM was when Sept... yet already it seems Sally's words of hope seem to be ringing hollow... no dosed patient/s no new trial centres and probably never a US arm... sigh.... Anyways yes plenty to of potentials to look forward to this a 3 platform multiple product and potential product company with many many cancer targets plus with Avidimab targets beyond cancer ....I didn't want to nibble more this year but looks like I will be...

Cliff did tell me China is very much on the radar and not to be ignored but Cliff says loads of stuff that is probably best ignored lol... just wondered if any progress... seeing oncosec secure funds from China above sp for products that we know are less attractive than ImmunoBodies and delivered by electroporation shows there is an appetite there... Also, oncosec being a US company and a deal done despite the trade issues there... so you would think scancell would be flogging ImmunoBody as hard as possible to China
