It looks to me there has been several failures here. It used to be normal practice when you are testing a live well with no well head in place you run a down hole hydraulic operated safety valve. This if run has not worked, but also there has been a breach in the topside system.
I think we are a few weeks away from further testing, as Zephyr will have to get their remedial plans for the well approved by several regulator authorities
It looks as though it’s all over for Savannah in Chad. If the Chad “ government “ have decided to nationalise the oilfields that Savannah have bought from Exxon.
The positive aspect of this is that Savannah should have a strong bargaining chip to be compensated financially from the Chad government, as Savannah should still be getting the money from oil and pipeline tariffs which are distributed in the Bahamas.
Wow Agadem,
You should change your job and become a share tipster.
I also have Zephyr shares and its 2023 year looks as promising as Savannah looks.
Looking forward to 2023 very enthusiastically
I would just like to thank you once again for all your posts on here. GLA
Why would anyone post their first post on Savannah, from a dodgy website basically accusing Savannah of corruption.
He is a shorter trying to cause havoc.
If you look at his other posts, their is a lot of talk about shorting
Not a good day for the share price today, but there will be many good days coming.
There is a article in The Africa Intelligence stating that Exxon Mobil MD in Chad has replaced the by a French woman to complete the sale of the Doba fields to Savannah
Hi Agadem,
I see Niger as where the potential large increase in SP could come from.
AK did state in either the AGM or the last investor forum that they are not going for the truck oil delivery option and going for the pipeline to the refinery, that they have contracted allowance to deliver there.
I have a reliable source that told me Savannah have hired a guy last week to oversea the Niger operation.
AK also stated they are in negotiations with contractors to progress Niger.
Hope there is positive news on this front in the next few months.
Another positive week

Great idea porchefund.
Live this board and Agadem & Zengas along with others helped me keep the faith during the dark times. ( SP 6 pence )
I have also contributed to the fund.
Good luck all. Hopefully an exciting day tomorrow
Regardless of how Exxon and is Savannah are going to manage the present and former staff, there is no short term solutions to fixing the storage tanks by the look of the picture of the damaged storage tanks.
These are bespoke items that will required to be ordered if beyond repair and will be in the region of 3 to 6 months IMHO.
Repairs will be weeks if not months also.
I do. It know if it is feasible to run a limited flow with just two tanks.

Everyone on this board appreciates every post that Agadem makes.
This has been a delightful board and full of posters that try to inform everyone of possibilities and probabilities of where Savannah are heading.
There has been many dark times, such as when the share price fell to 6 pence last year, and it looked as though Savannah were experiencing the same non payment issues as Severn was.
That is all behind us now and 99 % of us are excited and very positive as to where Savannah are heading.
Please do not be disrespectful to one of the main posters who informed this board with meaningful information during the dark days and helped us all stay positive
My daughter works for an drilling tool company and she has told me that Savannah are drilling a development well in Niger next year ( should be the planned gas well )
Also they are drilling an exploration well in Niger.
Hopefully this will be in the multiple news RNS coming very shortly.
Thanks mr B
2023 would be better for all of SAVE investors.
It may not be bad news, that there will be no drilling in Niger in 2021.
The latest information I can find on the Niger Benin pipeline, is that it is not likely to be completed until early 2024. So Niger drilling probably, would probably not be of any benefit to SAVE this year.
To get the EPS on line and validate the oil finds however will generate good cash flow and deliver SP upwards.
Cautionyourblast and Zengas
Thank you for your informative reply’s.
Niger way forward makes more sense now and do feel more reassured.
This is for Zengas, regarding questions for Cellicourt.
First of all I would like to thank you for all your informative posts, which is a fantastic enhancement to this board.
My question is : Can Savannah give some insight to their EPS strategy in Niger. In early 2020 their intent was to initiate the EPS system within 6 to 12 month’s .
Now in 2021 their commitment to is to initiate the EPS towards the end of 2021 if conditions allow.
I just don’t get why they seem to keep kicking this down the road, when they have stated costs of production to be about $25 a barrel and oil is above $50 a barrel. Bringing this oil to market will give an fledgling company more free cash and will provide hard evidence of oil in the ground, which will validate Savannah’s claims and aspirations in Niger
