I think the above statement means investing in their own business! They are currently offering shares at 10.75 which would still be a nice profit for them. GLA

Like I said yesterday, the SP is not going up until PEEL has shifted however many they have, or they know something that isn't in the public domain. Currently offering 50k at 106. Maybe a couple of large buys will do it but there hasn't been any for a while. GLA

Personally I'd prefer to enjoy the ride for a bit...

This was my thinking when reading the NIH news release. The RADx Tech program has up to $300 million to support the accelerated development of tests during COVID-19 and beyond. AS stated that it was the antibody that failed in our first attempt. The recent RADx study accepted that multiple mutations could affect diagnostic antibody recognition. It all adds up to Affimers being the ultimate long term solution in rapid antigen tests. GLA

MrA, for the last few days PEEL has been on the offer and happy to sit there selling regardless of the volume at times which suggests a large sell order. However he disappeared after some decent volume towards the close yesterday. I don't think it will take much to get this going upwards today. AIMHO

Richob, my ridiculously simplistic but fact based answer is there were a couple of sell orders but no matching buy orders in the auction, hence no UT trade. GLA

No because thousands of people have direct market access. If I had been quicker I could have jumped in last night and put a sell order in for 5000 @ 115 for example knowing full well it would open today at 111-113 (without news). Then the UT would have been 115. That's what traders do. If only the MMs had access to the auction then of course but that's simply not the case. GLA

FFS it's like casting pearls before swine with some. The UT last night was nothing to do with MMs. Somebody entered a buy order for 5000 @128+ which could have got filled at any price depending who was selling. Nobody turned up until the last few seconds and got a bargain at 127. It could have been 111-113 but there was simply nobody selling!!!

It certainly wasn't reversed. If I had sold them at 127 I can assure you that nobody would be reversing anything. It was a normal auction. If somebody has a buy order in at the wrong price then tough ***ty.

The official closing price is based on the UT trade which was 127. However without any morning news the opening price will be 111-113 as the market makers don't give a toss what the UT was. I watched the trades uncross normally but was too slow to jump in as I presumed some sell orders would appear at the end around 112 which didn't happened on this occasion.

There was no manipulation. There was a buy order for 5000 shares @ 128.6 if I remember right. Normally you would expect that to be matched by a sell order around 112 based on the trading towards close. No decent sized sell orders appeared and one punter jumped in at the end of the auction with a sell order at 127, which is the price it uncrossed at.

That's because there are only 100 shares on offer right now at 116. You'll have to call them to buy 2k at that price. If you want over 5000 you'll get a quote but above 116.

Erm, yes, I was posting a fact, not a solution.
