Good point, as you say the time frame to sell the shares was drawing close and perhaps this was considered their best jumping point. I can only assume the trustees could not be privy to any inside info so this is purely a judgement call. At least the RNS confirmed this had no bearing on ongoing talks. This share never ceases to surprise!

I’m just happy to pick a point to jump out, be it prior to a takeover or soon after. I’m not looking for long term value as my experience with this sector has shown it to be too much of a roller coaster. Great for trading but rubbish for going long.

Something of a rude awakening! But at least the monkey of them 50M shares are now off the backs of the company and maybe now things can move forward. The price drop from the open was purely technical and any positive news will send it straight back up I think. For someone that likes risk this could be a good buying opportunity

Hay Malta, yeah another week is no bother, it will be interesting to see what happens if by the end of next week we still have no news. I think some would rather free up the funds than wait but as long as the price holds at £1 it's really of no issue. As for me, I’m going nowhere. I assume you and Kamel are still holding?

This share makes watching paint dry or grass grow seem like a thrill ride. How much longer are they going to run over the offers? I only hope the delay is due to a bit of a bidding war going on. Could we be that lucky? Probably not.

Sadly been back from holiday for over a week now. As you say, no news –nothing much to say.

The only saving grace for me is I will actually walk away from this not at a loss, as long as the final price is 122+. I know many of the other long term holders may not be so fortunate, my first buy was back at 245 so it’s a miracle that after trading my butt off through the decline that I’ve got off maybe even with a small profit. It’s still infuriating that Teflon is going to get away with it though.

You should be correct, but I don’t trust our board to make good decisions. I could just imagine them saying no thanks to both as they feel they can do better going it alone…..NOT. Years of disappointment tends to make you a bit pessimistic with this lot…

I very grateful for this but the timing sucks for me, I’m off on holiday in the morning. I’ve now got to start logging in while away and hope it doesn’t all go wrong. I hate stop losses but I fear in this case I have no choice.

About 1.33 per share, if 888 really want this we could see 1.40 with any luck. Far more than I would have expected to honest.

Spring owl put £50M into this at around 1.23, I think it would be a very hard sell to get them to agree to a sale price short of that. A 50M investment for a year with no return may be acceptable to them but no less surely? This may explain the term ‘revised offer from GVC’. Allowing for the divi they received this would create a red line of about 1.17 for them.

If you‘re out north of a quid you may find today is the day to sell as I feel this will close at £1 plus today. The US premarket is going to kick in soon and the price should go up some more I hope.
