The brokers are expecting earnings per share of MINUS 12.25p per share.
For the next year (ending June 2023) they are now forecast to be MINUS 0.85 p per share.
Although that would be a big improvement it's still a loss, and when it comes to medium range forecasts brokers tend to be overly positive for their clients and revise downwards as time goes by. In fact they've already revised down from plus 1.4p per share a month ago.

They're due to mature 2025 so it's a tall ask esp with inflation/recession headwinds.I know revenue projections are high but look at AMC. Huge revenues but still forecast to make losses this year and next.

IF rumour true, a reminder that the market has been expecting a settlement .
The crux of the bear case here i they won't be able to service the secured loans so they'll need to do a debt for equity swap at some point.

I think his main point is that although they both have very high debt, CINE is in a much tougher position because of its looming loan maturities and their need to refinance.

Re peer comparison , this was a recent comment from JakNife on advf ....."AMC has very similar problems to CINE, it’s balance sheet is hopelessly burdened with debt that it has no chance of ever being able to pay back. The big difference compared to CINE is that the maturities are longer and the covenant packages are lighter and hence they’re not under any pressure to refinance. However, the level of interest that they have to pay is equally punishing and hence AMC are very unlikely to report a profit for Q2. The result will be announced on Thu 4th Aug.

I don't think the anti-virus function in EITHER mask directly protects the wearer.

In both cases it only applies to particles that have already been blocked by the fabric, not the tiny airborne ones which manage to waft straight through the pores.

It's just that Deltrian are more responsible in their marketing statements.

People wanting better direct protection – who are bothered more about what they're still breathing in - rather than cross contamination through careless handling or disposal – should buy a proper N95/99 certified respirator mask as worn on Covid wards.

Look at the side of the page and you'll see it's admitted to be an advertorial.
NNN masks are the loose fitting surgical type II s - can't be face fitted properly so pretty useless in risky indoor situations. Doesn't matter what you put on the material if you're inhaling/exhaling through the gaps in the pleats.

leaky means aerosolised virus particles getting in or out round the edges of the mask, which can't be avoided with the floppy surgical grade masks. That's why nurses on Covid wards don''t use that grade.

And since NNN are contracting out both manufacture and distribution they'll be getting very little margin on the retail revenues.

These NNN masks aren't designed or certified as respirator class like KN 95/ ffp2. Their structure is such that they can't be moulded round the face to form an airtight shield against aerosol particles.
It doesn't matter how efficiently the mask material kills trapped virus particles if the mask is leaky.

Another problemo.

The shares could have been unsuspended on Friday. A bit ominous in light of FCA saying in email reply to Tom W that they were looking into certain matters re the company, so don't count on them being unsuspended tomorrow.

And if they are and the price rises sharply it might be judged to be a "false market", and promptly suspended again, for goodness knows how long. This is a pump and dump plan, not a short squeeze.

There are no short positions on this share!! Show me on some site like Short tracker, FT or LSE if you think otherwise.

Might be some below reporting threshold I suppose, but hardly hedge funds or like GME which was a ludicrous 100+% - which is why it worked against them

My reading is that if you get a waft of 100 particles on your mask about 90 will still be alive there alive after an hour when you take a breather. But with a crappy surgical mask (non-certificated ,to FFP2/3 standard you'll have breathed in hundreds of virus particles directly through the gaps at the side of the mask.
You've read the links, and seen the pictures. The 2 types of mask are chalk and cheese.

No, not true - not on contact with the anti-viral layer. Only on contact with nano particles within it - Takes time , brownian motion to interact. Not like bam! -90% hitting an impervious barrier.

Yes but they haven't. Takes 7 hours to kill 90% so maybe considered little extra benefit. Masks are safely disposable . There are loads of other virucidal mask competitors - not looked into them but listed and linked on the other board.
Addition of viral layer trivial difference when breathing/ talking etc compared to the dirt cheap surgical masks you see littered everywhere.
My real irk here is that they're being sly marketed as if they give the wearer 99% protection. Snake oil salesmen.
