Interesting that you emailed GL a couple of days ago with a moan about progress and received a response.
I wrote a (half in jest) message at the weekend saying maybe I would contact the company about planning and any other updates they could give (non-sensitive info) and did actually send one on Sunday to the address on their website.
No reply as of yet.

With regard to the action, I have stated several times that it is not to me, and I do also remember RA's daily posting telling folk they were mad and crazy to sell at these prices as the SP dropped from 16p, but that is by the by now imo.
It is clear though that JA51 is just seeking to be purposefully difficult with his 'why can't you just post it' argument, it is the weak and typical response for someone who likes to argue for the sake of it.

I am only interested in the future here now and what the current plans are over the next 9 months or so to restore investor confidence and inject some life back into the company and the flagging SP with the remaining projects.

I agree with your comment that MM games and organised/co-ordinated de-ramping gangs are just convenient excuses from investors reacting to a falling SP.
I totally disagree with your view on placings however and your talk of 'tipping off mates, nudge nudge, wink wink' is just as outdated and far fetched a cliché as the 2 you have refuted.
Not saying that folk from the company or broker may not give a heads up as there will always be unscrupulous people where money is involved, but placings and the process is tightly controlled through MAR regulation (yes, even on AIM) and what you are stating is certainly not common place as you suggest.
Placings are done through a designated broker and any investor contacted by them is made an insider and is blocked from trading until any news is made public with strict records kept.
I am not saying it NEVER happens, but suggesting it goes on in AIM all of the time 'rinse and repeat' is simply not true.

I wonder if the delay in preparing/submitting planning is because the bod are currently chasing around speaking to lawyers, compiling records and statements for the class action? :-)
I had considered emailing the company next week on the subject, but the update from scally seems little point.
Presume folk would rather they rush to get it in on time than get it done properly and provide the best possible chance of success?

Rig arrival may only give the SP a small short term boost (maybe 10% on the day), but planning would allow the SP to hopefully move to a higher range (and hopefully sustainable SP) pending first results from the new wells.
For the record, my SP prediction for 31/10 was 1.40, and was based on rig arrival and planning approval.
I am conservative in the short term by most holders standards, but even my conservative predictions in the past have proved to be overly optimistic. I had originally hoped for a return to a 1.75 plus position once first wells flowing (I originally expected this by end Q3) and 2p by year end, but these timelines have slipped given the delays seen to date.
Looking forward to be proven wrong in the short term, but have no worries here for the longer term.
2020 will certainly see a big change here imo with works coming to fruition.

Just trying to suggest that they have shown it is possible to work to what was a fairly generous schedule.
Still holding, but if we do not see an update soon on the planning application and updates on future plans within reasonable timescales, then any hope will start to evaporate.
An important 9 months or so to restore some confidence here.

Timelines are always liable to some slippage and it was clear that it was an intention. The market will be expecting news sooner rather than later here though, but for me would allow them some leeway if it means getting it right.

To be fair, they did pretty much keep to schedule on the work program for Balcombe right up until the disaster of an RNS.

This takes away ammunition from those intent to blame these events on ukog activities in attempt to disrupt/cease operations and can only help when it comes to dealing with local councils for planning, etc.
Well worth mentioning imo as well as the much mis-informed reporting by various outlets referring to ukog as a fracking company. Bad press like this sticks, regardless if false information, so the more this can be refuted with clear evidence the better.

It will be interesting to see the response you receive as I believe another poster here had a quick reply regarding their website detail recently.
I do disagree with your assertion, however, that "We've had significant falls in the share price every day for weeks".
Other than the circa 60% drop on 28/06, the SP has performed (imo) in such a way that represents the lack of activity/news for the past 2 months often seen with AIM companies during periods of inactivity, especially given the RNS issued on 28 June, the only 'exceptional' down day since the 1st May (placing RNS) and the beginning of January.
There was also a large (significant?) rise (1.20 to 1.55) on 16 July following a Saltfleetby RNS update and the SP has closed up on at least 10 occasions since the 28 June.
I don't agree with your action group, but the crux of your position, to me, surrounds the RNS of 28/6 and events leading up to it. Everything since then is just a consequence of that event and the current lack of news/sentiment.

Presume the Saturday tanker is to empty the tanks to ensure sufficient on-site storage as the next tanker will not arrive until Tuesday - 2.5 days of flow before tanks can be emptied again.
Presume also, 2-3 tankers on Tuesday.
All imo, of course.
Although next week is a short working week, hopefully it will be a big week for ukog.

It was a standard RNS confirming testing had started and outlined the expected timelines/next steps as confirmed by all parties involved in the testing.
Nothing to be remotely suspicious about or "not to be taken in by" as you well know.

I believe drilling has been RNS'd 4 times or so since October last year as starting in early 2019, then Spring 2019, then Q2 2019, then once the rig was finalised with SS mentioning other dates in interviews (as posted by Dh).
We had a long period of no information and lack of clarity as to progress, but all iImmaterial now, it will all start soon and not a problem for me.

Considering this is a ukog specific board then, yes, I would say it is fairly well balanced and most reasoned views are respected.

Seeing as you are akin to a neutral football fan sat in amongst the home support and feverishly singing anti home team chants, of course you would see it differently.

Like robone, I am also curious as to why some who doesn't hold and has no intention of holding, or even offering a SP prediction, and even has no interest in which way the SP moves spends all their time posting negatively here.

Seadoc has been posting here for well over a year and your negative comments seem to have been around for just as long too. There are plenty of others like Qwerty and Penquins posting negatively and questioning everything on a frequent basis plus newcomers keen to knock the company due to their allegiances elsewhere, traders with their obvious agendas talking the share down and folk on a wind-up with nothing better to do than fish for a response.
Board is fairly balanced on the whole with the usual mix of views and extreme outliers as the predictions show.
A certain level of optimism is to be expected from those invested in any case, and why not?
