I think the problem is that it is very difficult to separate vaccine sentiment from insti manipulation from any other multiple of reasons why i-b is being financially underrated right now. Vaccine exuberance is a big sentiment driver but the canny City chappies here and in the US can play on it and do what they like with the share and their secret agendas( passing their holding of shares to one another etc). Mr. Marsden should ( and may have) connected with big pharmas and marketeers. The problem is that we do not know and the market is playing it like a fiddle.
Even without covid I-b is worth a fortune for copd-the biggest drain on winter hospital resources.
The problem is when private investors -like myself-become mushrooms . Wholly in the dark. No bull*** as far as I know.
This is a proven efficient covid and antiviral pneumonic treatment. But when sentiment droops ( vaccine) so does the price. I am an academic and teacher like the SNG chappies and I certainly wouldn’t let my product go cheap....small company or not. I don’t think after all this that that is the case. Just read the Lancet Nov 13.
The not knowing is the problem as usual. Was same in April-July before RNS. Watched s/p droop and get played with by the market every day. Same now but with a valuable proven product. Big difference.
001 has not lost its usefulness. Quite the contrary. Lockdown 2 UK ended and Thanksgiving would have been giving something else to each other. Let us see how the next 6 weeks pan out re. Covid. Vaccine exuberance or not....the earliest will be Spring...a long time off and a long winter.
The unforgiveable would be to find out that the govt. has ignored what it has always crowed about...efficient treatment. Our present govt. has form. Cummings is an example. No consequences. My 1st email from June via my MP was replied to 3 months later. Outrageous. You are all welcome to disagree but I have no faith in their utter ineptness from the beginning and right through. They could use I-b right now if they cared enough. ( ex Con. Party member here so I met a fair share of arrogance and ignorance...but you get that anywhere) . It is the responsibility of the govt. to enforce covid restrictions (and they fail miserably) and to supply new technologies and treatments. Where is the proven treatment of Interferon beta?? They should be taken to account for culpable homicide if they are knowingly ignoring it!! Richard M should not let them off the hook.

Truth is that this is being played and the two largest insti holders are at play somehow. Just like back before July.
Now we can’t know if they are selling or not. We can’t know if they are accumulating because their job is to keep us in the dark.
Vaccine? Yes of course it undermines the perceived value short term. But a vaccine is not a treatment and any rolling program takes time. The problem is partly lack of media recognition of i-b. We are rolling on the vaccine wave right now. We do not know what has happened to the marketing of Sng001 ( i-b) . US has just had Thanksgiving and holiday approaches. 2weeks will inevitably see a spike and the indoor highly populated midwest particularly will likely see numbers rise again. It does confound me 001 is not being used there or not planned to be. Same here. Our death rate is proportionately appalling-second only to Mexico. Why is it not being already mass-produced and used? I wrote my third email to the Dept of Health two days ago ( via my MP).
I fail to believe that Synairgen would not market a proven product in ernest. RNS releases set the investor world alight but we really need to know if i-b is on the table. Not good enough to be kept in the dark on this . The share price is being manipulated down but this is now a proven product-not like in March-June time. 13th November hospital results results sent share to £1:25. In essence nothing has changed except vaccines which we knew were coming. 001 is a proven treatment. Hard to know why after it was the main story on BBC in July that we hear nothing from the govt now.
I yet again encourage sharp letters to your MP’s.And maybe the company? Not just a matter of our money ( yes I am on a significant loss) but a matter of lives!!!!
I am perplexed on a lot of things re. the lack of info right now. The govt. tells us nothing. By G** I keep trying!!

I will write off to my MP again tomorrow. Writing directly to the govt. is useless. Good to do but just ignored. Via MP they are legally obliged to take it up.
I always get a response-3 months was a joke from health dept. though.
I have been increasingly concerned that i-b is not being used . Here or abroad. If genuinely true it is culpable terminal neglect. Getting governments to do things is a f....... nightmare. Been at it for 25 years at least. People might be shocked if they knew the true laziness and incompetence at work. It has to be done via MP’s and even then you are often fobbed off. But not to do anything and just moan is worse. Email local MP and ask for it to be passed to dept of health and social welfare. My MP was fairly shocked at my suggestion that i-b might not be in use. He already knew of it as a cancer drug.
The govt. have ( in my opinion) handled covid utterly incompetently from the start -and some of its directives ( especially intra-hospital prioritising of victims) is never to be forgiven and this is just another example. I-b saves lives. There is no excuse whatsoever for that.
Rant over. Sorry. I have held many many shares and still do so am not random but it is my first re-visit of lse chatsite for a long time. I find too much aggression.
Anyway...if there is anything positive out there I would love to hear it. I am once again heavily heavily in the red and watching the puppetmasters play with the share.

But 001 saves lives. We have months of this left . 001 could never be an preventitive answer -but if it saved 100% of lives it could be argued as an answer I would moot. What would there be to fear from covid?

If I undeserstimated RM then I am fully wrong. I am now put right if people tell me he has done all he can. Sorry at my presumption. Obviously unwarranted.
As I am involved heavily in many matters in politics and as an ( ex) member of the Cons. I can honestly say with some conviction that incompetence does reign in most government departments though and for me to have to send them the Lancet article is quite a joke to me when the NHS at grass roots are fighting from the heart. I still recommend getting in touch via emailing your MP though.

SNG is not 100% recovery in all patients. You would have to analyse the data. The Lancet is a good place to start.
Regarding the unbelievable scandal of the government neglect of Sngoo1 I have personally written to the Dept of Health and Social Care via my MP ..twice in fact. Only last week I wrote a scathing letter concerning neglect of I-beta and even sent them the Lancet article of 13th November.
My July letter took 3 months to get a reply . Outrageous. Who knows what will ( not) happen here. The govt. is riddled with incompetence..we just don’t see it ( until Boris comes on stage!)
Yes I fully agree that everyone here should email their MP and get onto the Dept. for Health and social Security re. this. It’s not just about our money ( I still hold many SNG but sadly on a loss now)....it is about human neglect. Over 2,450 deaths yesterday in US and over 650 in UK. Why???

If Richard Marsden does not market 001 effectively then it is all down to him. The Placing gave them lovely Option money but they have a duty to downright market and sell 001. The disgrace is theirs if they do not as thousands more are going to pass away this winter!!!

Important points you have made...with which I now agree...having had first hand clarification from the company. The Energy minister’s speech supports this fully. Off shore can become feasible per licence and the two year review is grossly unlikely to reverse progress. The remarks about investor perception in Trinidad by the Energy minister were spot on.

No offshore drilling for a long while. Even re. Jubilee’s bid. Onshore resumes 2021.
This SPT change is actually true and genuine it seems. It keeps revenue from big operators and encourages growth from thos companies held back from expansion. Good news for Trin and I see the share price on an upward trajectory from here.

They are still only a minnow. They were trying to upgrade to a larger marine specimen. SPT prevents that. I hope to find out tomorrow what effects it has had on plans for TGAL. Cairn energy still remains a mystery to me and I would like clarity.

One certainty. A loss is only a loss if crystallized by selling. 8.5 is a stupidly undervalued price to dump unless at a profit. Many people( incl. myself) bought more in the 9’s. More fool me.

ECho. I would like to think that we don’t know the full story but am averse to imaginative optimistic speculation. Trin cannot leave the share price here at 8.5p. There are institutions invested here. They have held out to date ( most of them anyway-not all) and some participated in the 15p Placing. The BOD must have known-yes known-that there was a good chance the govt. would shaft them. Bruce does put too much faith in the govt. and connections IMO and who knows...it may have been a wake-up call for him! Or maybe Cairn is the way forward. The govt. is its own worst enemy and is keeping its own offshore oil in the ground. Yes..a few chunky trades today and yesterday. But also a 1m sell after 4:00 yesterday.
We often think there are a Plan B or C there and there are not. So who knows?
I often find out it’s just business as usual which disappoints . And disappoints the market.
BUT you would have to be in La La Land to have trusted that the govt. would deliver...so hopefully the company will update us in a week in the Q3 update.
It will show good cash generation with realised price of around $37-8. B/E supposed to be $20 but I don’t see it myself. More cash......but what is the short and med and long term outlook now???

Dividend AND buybacks ( previously described as useless) are now being considered as feasible. It’s the credibility that this would offer. Trin has lost its market trust. Deaing in a juristiction run by business -averse politicians has not helped. Nota bene however that TXP has benefited from the budget re.shareprice. 80p.
It is shameful that shareholders should see this. Loyalty has not paid. Quite the contrary.
What good cash if just sitting there in a highly efficient company which has lost shareholder faith . Shareholders do matter. Even the short term ones. Trin give mixed messages. Say they only want long term holders but will offer value to sh-med-long holders. But in reality all shareholders especially long termies suffer. Market forces are not random. Many reasons why we are at 8.5p and it has been a long long rocky road to this sorry price. An avoidable one .

2000 bopd producers:- not meaningful reform. Lip service. SPT not estimated to be due for min . 6 months. Leaves 18 months for mini-producers who contribute little to the economy.
It is not reform in any real way.
It ticks a meaningless box.
Been here many times over 6 years with this govt. They have promised-yes promised-significant reform many times.
It is virtual and not real reform and leaves the development of offshore Galeota up the spout.
How Trin will respond? Stay onshore. It will be interesting to see how this impacts on Circle Oil and Jubilee.
Let us not forget that producers over 3,500 bopd also pay extra 4% ppt. Rock and hard place if you want to grow a business producing oil. Fewer promises and a lot more realism would help.

Why does Trinity promise so much in its RNS’s regarding short/med/long term shareholder value ...even releasing manifesto details in RNS which predictably at the time prove irrelevant to the company as the govt. has multiple previous form regarding SPT ?? It simply does not want to reform it. Period.
Why are we continually promised so much as shareholders yet so little is ever delivered. Now 8.5p. And descending.
I cannot believe how poorly we have been treated as shareholders.
That RNS really led us up the garden path. They should have said nothing as they usually do. Why release it?? Not obligatory.

Promises from Trin. Consistently told what good shape they are in. So where does it leave us sitting on humungous losses having trusted cash generation at meetings and shareholder-value promises in RNS’s. ??

It is true deep disappointment and sadness at the lack of delivery on promises all-round.

I was being ultra and over-conservative. No agenda.
People were assuming that Trin was receiving a premium until put right a month ago. Actually a $1-2discount.
Hedging was an estimated expiry by me of 50% reduction. I was basing the $20 b/e goal as just a goal and as much based on no drilling and cumulatively reduced G and A as anything else.
I’m happy for Q3 b/e to be $20 or less and if so we’ll find out soon enough.
Also happy to be wrong with my over-conservatism if so. Better to be that way than ramp to 15p and say “ It’s coming it’scoming”. Does no-one any favours.

I too am inclined to agree with your comment. There are a lot of shares out yhere which are engaging the market right now a lot more than Trin. Oil majors...look at BP at £2:16p FGS ! PFC at an all time low but a real gamble. Money to be made or lost there at £1:11p !!
Covid pharmas which are small and very volatile(AVCT/SNG/NCYT etc. )Lots of money being made there! ( sadly not mine).
Trin is a dusty old share which doesn’t glisten. BD’s RNS in August woke up the market a bit but this has no RNS and the Trin govt. is jist another untrustworthy administration unworthy of market attention it seems.
