My theory about the Kefi share price decline is that the opening ceremony was disappointing.

Harry had previously stated several times that the relocations were already underway. However, on the site where the Prime Minister was received, there isn't a single house to be seen. Work on the actual mine can't begin until the houses are built.

I think they won't meet the timeline of commissioning in 2027 and production in 2028, and that's why people are selling

Gold is also down today. Therefore, I expect a further (significant?) decline in Kefi's share price.

I don't think I'm talking to myself. I'm answering the questions or opinions of other members here.

However, I'm very surprised how sensitive some people are as soon as you ask a critical question or post a less than 100% positive opinion about Kefi.

You're immediately insulted or ridiculed because nobody wants to hear anything negative.

Instead, they build up fantasies about a takeover, which they then discuss for pages on end, like what a fair price would be, etc., instead of asking why Kefi's share price is faltering, gold is rising, and other producers/developers are also rising. Nobody here cares.

Nobody cares about the country risk in Ethiopia either.

I'm invested, but I don't see only positives with this investment, and nobody wants to talk about the negatives; they downplay them and attack them.

Some people here have been invested for many years and have endured a very long dry spell. Now everything is suddenly OK?

For example Montage Gold was up yesterday 7% while Kefi was down 3%. Both are not producing any gold up to now but Montage will start this year.

Isn't it a fair question to ask:

Why is Kefi falling even though there has been positive news in recent days?

And if you ask the question, you'll be attacked.

If you only want to exchange positive things, then you don't need the forum at all.

If people would expect gold go down in 1-2Y they would also not buy the gold producer now. Why buy now a company with declining profit in future?

But its the opposite. Producer stock price are rising as well as the SP of most developers that are not producing now but in 1-3y

As i said before. I did not find any gold miner/developer tofay that was at least -1% except Kefi.

Kefi stock price seems not to be much interested in the gold price increase today

Gold up 2% today and Kefi is the only gold mining company that i could found that is down on a day like this.

Allied gold is producing gold already. 2025 aroung 400K ounces

Solgold NPV is between 3-4 billion GBP and they have been bought by the chinese for 1 billion BPB. No one is pying the NPV at takeover or something close to that.

OMG the SP can not even climb to 1.9 with gold up 2%

and some dreaming about takeover ar 10p 20p or more.

Be realistic.Looking at the takeovers of recent and current years, Kefi will at most, if at all, be acquired with a premium of 30-100% on the current share price.

Just look at Solgold or Allied Gokd at whst premium they were bought.

You cant compare Kefi situation now with the one in the last war.

Now the project is financed, work on the mine started, contractor started on planing+building the mine, relocation started.

At Last war noting of the above.

Even if a war is started it will be limited to to border and the economy will not come to a standstill. Even russia with all the sanctions and in war has a growing economy. Look for example to germany. Their economy is not growing since last 4-5years.

Of course a war is not positive but the economy will not come to an end and work l+ ife will go on and so will the work on the mine of course continue since the mine and/or location is not afffected at all.

How can you see this volume+where?

Anyway i hope there will be no war. There is some diplomatic activity going on at the moment. E.g. Erdogan made it clear that he is not supporting an attack on Eritrea.
