Checking back - my first investment here was 25/04/16 - so just ticked over 2 and a half years. initial buy price 2.55 - average 2.35. tick tock.

Bibby - you say people who want best price etc will move to online but that is now being taxed at higher rates . Wrong . The tax applies to online casino only , sports betting is still under the GBD tax - which is staying at 15%. Please stop spreading false and misleading information .

and.... an element of that 31% that has been restricted WILL transfer to other forms of gambling - potentially Online/ .SSBTs / OTC football, dogs, racing, numbers... . so in reality, the impact is c25% or less per shop. these are all facts.

Sorry but you are wrong there. The Machines are between 45-50% of each LBOs profit - and 37% of that figure is from B3 content. therefore the B2 content you refer to is 31% of an LBOs profit. FACTS. you are spouting biased nonsense.

A few points.

1) The EU can't impose laws to prevent it - under the Treaty of Rome customers are accessing the service in Gibraltar or Malta. only member states can decide to regulate, in which case the company applies for a license, or doesn't. certain territories (e.g. France) - set turnover taxes so high, no-one bothers.

2) Do you think people just stop gambling ? Of course a percentage of the B2 revenue will move to B3 or other substitute products. Very naive to think otherwise. From the Q1 Trading Statement “Gaming net revenue was flat and the share of B3 content increased to 37% from 35% a year before.” This is UNAFFECTED – and revenues on the FOBTs B3 will obviously increase.

It’s not that simple . The difficulty is how do you model for a) customer behaviour / product substitution- I.e it’s only B2 roulette / blackjack content affected - the revenue from slots B3 will likely increase (higher margins - c10% rather than 2.7% ) as will revenue on numbers, dogs and other immediate betting products . B). Last man standing - if 4 shops close , the remaining one picks up all the sports business and all the B3 business. I won’t respond on the ethical points as frankly we aren’t here as investors for that primary purpose.

Just waiting for drill results , updated resource smt and further funding from Talaxis . The recent warrants whilst keeping the SP in check , have meant we are getting continues funding , 100k + in the last tranche alone . We have sophisticated investors who have gone TR1 ( above my buy in price), rising REE prices / potential issues with Chinese supply , growth in EVs, Plus a major company putting in a large stake to fund it all. !! What's not to like .

Apple - you have been here a while now - let's just ride out the next 12 months and raise a glass to a 25-30p SP . It's enevitable .

It's all linked to the the potential increase remote gaming duty from 15 to 25% . Basically they shafted the industry on B2 stakes and now want the industry to pay for their shortfall in tax revenue . Appalling really for a pro business government .

I am not sure what RNS some are reading here . Drill going well, option to keep 102 onsite to reduce costs for 104, finance secured with half decent conversion terms . What did people expect ? Exxon take a 25% stake at £1 per share .. :-/

reflecting on what i posted today and in light of your comments, i was frankly, well out of order. apologies to each and all. i once held a position here and spent a lot of time and money looking into the workings of the various partnerships we had. i did sell up, eventually around even but not what i wanted to happen . i have some sour grapes with SN but who cares about that. good evening all.
