Would like to see a plan to diversify. Long term we may be facing an aging population but I don’t see that there will be the disposable income of the current generation, particularly due to the decline in final salary pension schemes.

Apart from the stellar rise the daily volatility in PFC is an opportunity in itself. Sold at 615 yesterday. Bought back same share volume for 608 this Morning. No stamp so why wouldn’t you?

I can see it retracing to 580. It’s been at that level before and with director buys and dividend later this month I should think logic should prevail. But. This is PFC! GL

Perhaps the RNS reminding all that there is an ongoing SFO enquiry, which dropped the share price, now makes sense?

I got out a month ago from funds. May buy back in but feeling a little uneasy at present. I did do well with Japanese tracker, hedged to the £. 15% up over four months.

I think the weakening global market is also encouraging a shift in assets. From a personal perspective ive moved assets away from US/UK/Japan and have consolidated to cash and a few core holdings, one of which is PFC. Must be others with a similar view.

Bains were commissioned in January, guess they should report soon on potential north sea disposal? Would be a further good news story this side of dividend payment.

Short tracker still showing shorts at 6.62%. Would have thought that those holding short positions will have bought back by ex div day.
