What could possibly happen in 3 years?
Argo Blockchain plc (LSE: ARB; Nasdaq: ARBK), a global leader in cryptocurrency mining, is pleased to provide the following operational update for April 2024.
During the month of April, the Company mined 99 Bitcoin, or 3.3 Bitcoin per day (March 2024 - 103 Bitcoin). Daily Bitcoin production in April remained the same as the prior month despite the Bitcoin halving occurring on 19 April 2024. This is primarily due to a temporary but significant spike in transaction fees in the days immediately following the halving.
Mining revenue in April 2024 amounted to $6.6 million, a decrease of 6% compared to the prior month (March 2024: $7.0 million).
As of 30 April 2024, the Company held digital assets worth the equivalent of 12 Bitcoin.
Grant of Equity Awards
On 9 March 2024, the Company granted 7,372,184 Restricted Stock Units ("RSUs") to certain employees in accordance with the 2022 Equity Incentive Plan approved by shareholders at the Company's 2022 Annual General Meeting. The RSUs vest over a three-year period

A chink of Positivity for this Dark board.

What has been proved beyond any rational doubt is that 95% of the posters on this board got it wrong! Whatever their agenda and however hard they tried to FUD, the decision went against them. Instead of bankruptcy, we got a rescue package. But the FUD agenda continues. They say the best lies incorporate a modicom of truth, usually wrapped in Huge amounts of misleading smelly brown stuff or at best 'suppositions' of hash rate, machines and electricity costs. If you pay any attention to these 'experts', you will loose. Do they work for the company? No. Are they invested? No. Is there a hidden agenda? Yes. Big credit to @poorinvestor who has faced a sxxxstorm of fake 'expert' advice and got it right.

Core Scientific has been affected by a prolonged decline in the price of bitcoin, a rise in electricity costs and the increase in the global bitcoin network hash rate, the company said. On top of that, it has been in a legal battle with bankrupt Celsius Mining over what it claims are "outstanding amounts owed.”

The industry in general has faced those same struggles recently, with bitcoin mining hosting company Compute North filing for bankruptcy last month.
"Among possible alternatives, the company may explore liability management transactions, including exchanging its existing debt for equity or additional debt, which transactions may be dilutive to holders of the company’s common stock," the company said.

So far, "longitudinal assessment of drug effects on microglial activation in SPMS patients (rather than animals) remains to be determined. "
"On March 10, 2022, Tiziana reported clinical data from a SPMS patient treated with intranasal foralumab for six months, which showed that foralumab inhibited microglial cell activation in all areas of the brain as assessed by PET imaging3."
"Excessive activation of microglial cells is well-known to be associated with neurodegenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis (MS), Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson1. The underlying causes of these diseases lead to microglial activation and brain inflammation2. Thus, inhibition of microglial activation is an important target for drug discovery and development for neurodegenerative diseases. Several FDA-approved drugs, such as TYSABRI® , MAYZENT® and ZEPOSIA® suppress microglial activation and exert neuroprotective effects in the central nervous system (CNS) in animal studies but longitudinal assessment of drug effects on microglial activation in SPMS patients remains to be determined."
More and more brands are tinkering with hydrogen as a direct fuel source rather than a means of charging a battery... could this be the next big thing? It would make sense for DMG's (with their inexpensive & abundant waste plastic fuel) to feed garage forecourts with Hydrogen. It could also make sense for a big infrastructure player to buy into PHE at these discounted prices and snap up a game changing solution that offers an alternative to 'green' Hydrogen electrolysers.

Carbon Capture Startup After Tech Breakthrough. Verdox Captures $80M to Develop Novel Electric Carbon Removal Technology with $80 million. As far as I can tell, it's still in the laboratory and they have not built a model or POC.
There is money out there - we just need Bill on our side :)

as well as thinking outside the box etc. I'm sure this didn't happen overnight and has been on the table for a while but (another cliche) - “Success occurs when opportunity meets preparation” Zig Ziglar. Looking forward to an update from HUI!
are coming home to roost :) We might see a bit more of this. People miss the quick pump delivery of fuel and we are already seeing the publicised role-out of Hydrogen infrastructure in Australia, and the potential is there for DMG units to deliver as well using a low cost plastic food stuff. Someone needs to pull their finger out while there is still a FOAK window of opportunity. This may have started out as a fantastic solution to plastic waste but maybe the more relevant solution & imminent demand is in delivering Hydrogen to new Hydrogen infrastuctures. Maybe Powerhouse can run a fast-track dynamic Hydrogen delivery business model to fossil fuel distributors alongside the endless & apathetic Protos project?

one of Australia’s biggest wind farm developers . Maybe they (or another fossilfuel company) would like to invest in a technology that could potentially generate Hydrogen for filling stations across the UK and elsewhere? They might have a bit of spare cash and it would give their carbon reduction programme in the world a boost and earn them plenty of browny points.

How commercially viable would it be for a DMG to offer this type of solution at a filling station?
Heavy-duty #hydrogen mobility is coming to Australia with the largest public filling station to open in 2023.
Generating H2 on site from a 2M electrolyser and filling trucks and buses with two 350 bar refuellers, the $43M project will be a game changer.

I thought the DMG units were of modular design that would allow them to be sited on relatively small sites without the need for a massive dedicated infrastructure or other innovative technologies (isn't that what Protos want)? The basic model is to receive (mainly) plastic waste & pollution that can be converted into carbon free Hydrogen, that can be sold to the emerging Hydrogen economies (eg: transport), and electricity and power that can be sold to the local grid/community.
As such, I’m not sure what the delay is for getting a DMG operational, other than the restraints imposed by Protos. It seems Protos as an energy and resource hub has no timelines and it’s ‘imperative’ is to see “3,000 jobs created and over £700m invested in the local area” and they are completely dependant on waiting for planning applications and funding applications.
If construction of the DMG is dependant on commitment to the whole site, we have a very long wait as it looks as if only two plots are active, 5 are under development, and 9 are still available. How long is it going to take to fill those? https://www.protos.co.uk/site-availability/
What we really need is a commercial (definition: making or intended to make a profit) organisation that wants to see a return on their investment asap and who therefore have an interest in driving construction forward. HUI have already indicated that there is significant interest from communities in Europe and the rest of the world - but so far Protos is a non-starter. I thought some action would have started once the drainage and endangered species issues had been resolved, but no.
I appreciate that Protos was the first Powerhouse customer and that Powerhouse as a small organisation were stepping into the unknown, but now we know there is demand out there (which could be increasingly ‘fuelled’ by demand for clean Hydrogen and never ending plastic production & lack of disposal), I hope the ‘new’ board find some resolve and initiates some new initiatives.
Still not live on ii @ 11.46.

to be built in Teesside'. Transforming plastic into Hydrogen seems to be the main differentiator for Powerhouse (rather than creating more plastic that could slip back into the environment).
Anyone aware of this organisation which seems to be pretty active?' The plant (on Teeside) .... which is expected to be operational in 2022, is predicted to process 80,000 tonnes of plastic waste a year'. That was back in March last year. Mura Technology are developing a global portfolio of sites using hydrothermal upgrading, an advanced recycling process for a plastic-neutral and sustainable future. Using supercritical water, we’re able to convert waste plastic back into the chemicals and oils from which they were made. Mura’s portfolio includes sites within the UK (see ReNew ELP), USA, Germany and Asia.
It would be nice to see this sort of news from Powerhouse: https://muratechnology.com/news/

Is this the man we need on our side to take the bull by the horns and cut through all this waiting for this and that while the plastic problem gets worse by the day?

"The top 10,000 individual investors in #Bitcoin control ~1/3 of Bitcoin in circulation. While the top 10% of miners control 90% of Bitcoin mining capacity, with about 0.1% (50) controlling ~50% of mining capacity." So why wouldn't you invest in ARB, hold, and just watch it grow with the price of Bitcoin?
