Hi JustAHobby
So you don't think that challenger banks are a successful disruptor within the financial sector, or at least be seen to be a product of the last recession?
Could this type of (specialised) financing, therefore be a product of the recovery ahead?
The 'ask' is currently 31.4p but allowing me to buy at 30.47p - presumably these will all show as 'sells' too, being at the lower end of the range. I have a feeling that with some of the smaller caps and AIM stocks, the door is being held ajar for bigger buyers, slowly transferring from the 'froth' stocks etc and like Spindok says, with volumes so low, we just have to wait for the bus to fill up before we start our journey. May as well buy a few more whilst waiting!
Hi Fred
I've been trying to get my head around this, as it has been happening with other shares.
If you place a deal and you get a trade price at the lower end of the spread, it shows as a 'sell'. I got mine at 23.45p, being in the lower range. If you look at the most recent transaction today, someone paid 23.90p (at the higher end) and is showing as a 'buy'. I am 99% confident that the biggie is a 'buy' and got a special discount too. Apparently it is because the algorithms can't handle today's volumes. The answer is we will never really know.
Hi FredRubble,
I don't know if it is any crumb of comfort but the sell of 4,439 you can see today at 10:19, was me and it was actually a 'buy'.
Looking at the purchase price of the 435k transaction, could be the same thing.
This has moved up 3p since I bought it in mid November. Is anybody else losing the will with this? Seems that a fundamentally sound, dividend paying company is just not trendy anymore. Think everyone sold up last week and moved on!
