Does anybody know if there is still any technical significance with 18.20?
I vaguely recall this being the required closing price back in Aug/Sep, before the price could potentially break out, It's just that the forces seem to be working hard to keep the daily close below this.
MW reduced their short ever so slightly on Wednesday.
Down 0.1%
I suppose every little helps.

Hi JG, I think the problem is the disposals. It is definitely not a sellers market and they are now taking p/l hits on the remaining businesses, as commercial asset values are plummeting, as we know. It is chicken and egg, you need sales to clear debt, but valuations are not being realised. Could this £40m be the expected hit on their final asset sale?
Think folk need to be careful with this 97p thing.
A possible media trap.
This is the actual extract from the article, it is only spoken by the journalist working for the Financial Mail On Sunday on behalf of JL and not actually said by JL''... he is optimistic etc''.
''He is optimistic that its stock will hit the pre-rights issue price in the next year or two. Whether the market will be convinced is another matter.''
Here is the article again below.

Hi Capitalizer
I am just wondering if the answer to your question, concerns an onerous contract provision.
we would need a CCAB accountant to confirm if this could be the case, as Capita do not go into detail with their specific provisions.
Definition:-
IIAS 37 defines an onerous contract as a contract in which the unavoidable costs of meeting the obligations under the contract exceed the economic benefits expected to be received under the contract
Noticed that VIX index has been cooling off quite considerably over the past few hours too.

When July's CPI data was announced last month at 6.8%, it never made one iota of difference to any single one of my holdings. It never even got discussed very much on any BB. Think we are just following a script atm.
