Indeed, though I do think there will be at least one new distributor prior to Christmas, just my view. They already have 2, and so suspect some groundwork with other distributors will have taken place already.

There should now be in effect a 7p floor here, give or take, and so the risk/reward should at least be very favourable for the next 3-6 months, I agree and can see 10p+ levels over the next few months.

Launch is tomorrow, so the next few weeks/months will develop things further IMO.

Averaged down enough to get to just sub 11p! Over to you Erik and the team.. Definitely a buy at these levels with news flow expected and investment de risked now.

This does seem to be in a bit of a range circa 7.5-8.25. Good volume. Didn't realise I was over 40% down on this. Tempted to average down but it will need to be a reasonable amount to get the avg towards 11 pence at best I suspect.

Volume is definitely up, more shares in issue and trade able which in turn is generating decent liquidity at the moment.

Will be interested to see how the market absorbs these over the next few days. Due to be admitted to trading tomorrow, some will be sticky i.e. Mercia and some of the placees, but some will be flipped by the bucket shops who at 7p have made an easy profit!

Also why the need for a joint broker. Yet to see Novum's impact, so hoping they will put out a broker note of substance. I think eventually Beaufort may get the boot, as Novum helped raise the funding.

Will be interested to hear Kerim's thoughts on interviews, I'm not sure whether the drill campaign will be started by AAU, depends on interest (remember they were already batting that away before today's news). The MARL scenario does have a relevance here IMO. I wonder whether they will simply sell the asset for a good return. The 'important announcement' point to me is of interest.

Gripes were that there should have been a small open offer to existing shareholders at the placing price, that the order news, which previously suggested delivery next year, but is now going to be booked this year, was handled poorly, and that Novum being issued warrants at the placing price was unacceptable. All of which I agree with. One things for sure, volume and liquidity has picked up, and will do now with more shares in issue. Price looking quite strong at the moment considering.

Disappointing but it was obvious it was coming this placing. I must be around 60% down, but am not going to look! At least it is out of the way, will monitor the next few days to see where this levels out.

Spot on. I'm 40% down so far on this crock, get the placing done, or get the SP higher, before it's done, either way uncertainty is not helping.

I've been thinking about that too, particularly the China aspect, and furthering themselves from the USD. That has to be good for gold surely. The price seems to be stuck around the 1275 mark at the moment, I'm fairly sure anything above 1250 is good for AAU.

Funding needs to be clarified, and very soon. yesterday's RNS was so poorly worded, why do CPT continue with their PR company, I could have written that better, with more of a positive spin.

Random mid day RNS, some good, some average. Next year will be transformational, but what about funding. Until that is clarified I'm not adding.

Made my small top up. Takes me to 600k shares in my own right, got a few for the father in law too. I think this is going to go through 1.40 soon, and start the creep up again. Salinbas news must be due soon too.
