As Tracylied would put it, more 'volume' today, and crucially that is buying volume. Happy to hold onto my shares as there seems to be tell tale signs pointing towards some good times down the road.

I also notice Gold has been slowly ticking back up now, around $1285 currently, well enough north of AAU's ideal of $1250.

Well one thing is for sure, the BOD as a whole seem to be keen to get their hands on shares, market buying is certainly more legitimate than last weeks episode. I'm starting to think there is a takeover looming, or a material share increase event..

You are right, to an extent, I have done this before, and sold, and then the price has within weeks shot through the roof, and so had I held, I would have made a substantial profit. It works both ways.

Well I'm not selling at a loss, I will hold on for the value in 2018, it will come, despite the BOD's best efforts, the assets are there, producing., and to be sold. Here's hoping to a gold major buying us out and relieving us from the pigs at the trough.

Was tempted myself but sent a disgruntled email to AAU instead! I'll probably be ignored but at least I have vented some frustration. We should all vote our shares against the director who heads up the Remcom at the next AGM. That might send a message. Anyway Christmas is upon us so will now switch off ahead of 2018 where I still feel good value from current levels will materialize.

Agreed, though I can't help thinking that AAU is being packaged for a sale at a premium with the various director buys of the last 3-6 months, along with today's news, and progress on Kiziltepe, Salinbas and Tavsan. The end game is there. MARL mark 2 hopefully.

Seems to maybe be a 1m buyer in the midst at the moment. Good to see this back in the 1.40's again.

I think AAU will have it's day in the sun at some stage over the next 6 months. Kicking off the drilling campaign at Salinbas should help keep interest, alongside regular updates on Kiziltepe and Tavsan.
