To be fair to him he is a good critical analyst, his tips however are not so great as we all know! Sells at this level are loss making whoever you are.

Daisan, as a chartered company sec by qualification a NED is not likely to be aware of regular activity on a company level, believe me, they are purely there to assist with long term (and general) strategy, risk, remuneration of directors etc. Hence their limited pay, not being 'employed' by the company, and general requirement to periodically attend board meetings. They are also typically NED's or even directors at other companies so it would be impossible for them to be always up to speed. They will of course be aware of the general direction a company is going in. I suspect off the back of recent news releases, and the fall in AAU share price, that this NED saw an opportunity to buy at a deflated price, don't blame him!

He is a NED. That is great, his knowledge should be limited to overall strategy and long term vision. Clearly sees value at these prices. This does not preclude further market updates in the short term as he is unlikely to be an insider.

Isn't Payne a NED, if so, then he is not involved in the day to day management of the company.

Ariana�s 50% interest in Kiziltepe must be valued now at around circa �15m I would have thought, so well in excess of current MCAP. Throw Salinbas (a potential game changer) and Tavsan in for free! It is disappointing but I do remain faithful that things will turn around, and that news will come very soon on Salinbas, and Tavsan, by y/e. I have found the last couple of years that my best gains in stocks have tended to be in Q1 of each year, so I am suspecting the same may well apply in 2018, let's see. Gold price will also play a part I'm sure, stuck in a rut at the moment, but that can change fast, Trumpy getting impeached, Bitcoin imploding etc. Ultimately gold above 1250 is fine for AUU, Kerim has reiterated that a number of times.

Wasn't that set in India? I see your point otherwise! Holding and waiting myself, hopeful of a bit of news pre-Christmas, but H1 next year is where the fireworks will happen IMO.

We'll find out this quarters work at the end of Jan 18, still Salinbas and Tavsan news before year end. I think there could be a partial bounce today, you may have timed your entry well.

You would think great entry prices at these levels. I wish I could but will wait and watch now. Seems overdone and any sellers most likely at a loss. Could do with some good news Kerim!
