So both GSK and Astra don't have a specific diagnostics division - I imagine after working with them on the JV (pretty much what is is even though it wasn't called that) for the UK project, they will both no doubt be looking at acquiring Novacyt in the not too distant future - remember being a side arm of one those two = mid cap status. GM given the hints and Voleon have kept the price down to aid the buying of cheap shares on open market (just like they have done previously with other companies before a takeover offer).
