Dark so far is a very fast growing company in very fast and important Cyber industry ( see the news post I posted yesterday on 10 countries doing Cyber attack simulation ) so shorts will be short squeezed and very dangerous to short a few days before results , if I were them I would buy back ASAP ideally Monday before results come out ..

Can you suggest other source of data for shorts including retail … ( Ortex is more for funds ) … Vultire what’s your best info source on level of shorts ! Thanks

Good article Sheltie- the question is where can we see the data on short positions in total ? Especially on Dark .
It surprises me Deliveroo is only 0.2 per cent !

In U.K. CFD or spread betting is a way of going short .. I guess Dark is one of the Soread betting shares but hard to find umbers … when these shorts reverse and buy then Dark will Rocket upwards … the combination or goid resukts , ML issue clearer and shorts buying back and new investors buying could send Dark towards Jeffries blue sky target of 1300 p :)

There is nothing wrong with using Put , Call options or shorting any share !

Where in the U.K. can we see short position levels on Dark at the moment . There is website showing short positions over 0.5 per cent of market cap .., but not smaller investors

Short term traders might use Bollinger more in combination with other signals - even if oversold on Bollinger on Friday - that might mean good time to buy … although it could go lower too before results … As oversold are you ready to buy on Monday !

Valuehubtress - yesterday you mentioned a lot of individual investors are short of Dark shares - may I know which website or sources of information you have used to find out that information - the level of short interest ?

If no one sells in Monday ( except the shorters ) then the supply of shares limited, and that will cause shares to go up in price ,

People like VH want to increase the supply of sellers so they can benefit as they are short and buy back lower …

Let’s not discuss selling on Bollinger levels - most people are long here …

If the share is high , then don’t mind discussing retracement levels in an upward trend … Also give results a chance in next 3 to 8 days when ever they come out …

I think they will time the Results to surprise the Shorts to the Maximum effect !

Bollinger by itself does not necessarily give any buy or sell signal …

Mrlong - good point - Brokers hopefully will adjust accordingly after results - you might expect a 10 / 20 percent difference between the high and low targets ( not 100 per cent ) so I would expect Broker targets to start to converge !

Dark did fundraising in 2018 at 250 p ( it’s on internet somewhere )
Since then grown 40 / 50 per cent a year let’s say
So 250 x 1.4 x 1.4 x1.4 for 3 years (2019 , 2020 , 2021 ) = around 700 p but if you include extra 6 months then around 840 p … however 40 per cent is on low side hence 1000 p plus :)

Valuehunteress you seem to targeting your Short to June 9 th levels … 339 a level of support and resistance …. How long do you expect it to stay at that level ?

Valuehunteress - I agree Oxford Nano less volatile but actually Dark has dropped 60 per cent so actually it has much higher upside now than Oxford Nano … which is quite stable .
Dark could double from 400 to 800 … but Oxford Nano already high so unlikely to double this year … so on that basis Dark might be better bet !

To be honest I can understand your position …Barclays also said trend reversal not yet happened …. However

Even though next 7 days or 3 /5 trading days until results - could be volatile - If Dark high growth and good business results confirmed within the next week then Shorts might buy back to avoid being short squeezed!
