Kick I do agree with you that Darks 2 brokers Jeffries and. Berenberg will look favourably on their client - and you might say slightly biased …

However they get most access to study products and the management, so they are better informed than PH who are
self proclaimed enemies ( I sense you might work at PH)
Jeffries reduced current target from 1000 to 800 p so they are being careful not to overdo their optimistic view of their client … Needham and Piper have average target of 800 ! And they don’t work for DT … so 2 years later 800 p I think too conservative , 3 months later 800 p more realistic

Kindly do not say all brokers who work on behalf of a company tend to exaggerate their Target price because they are paid ( in this case by DT )
PH have a history with ML from Autonomy and successfully launched a Campaign against Dark when the share price was over 920 p … creating fear that big existing shareholders might sell after lockup and that products were Snakeoil ( even though Microsoft and 6000 + clients like their products )
I have included PH TP in the average Tp of 775p … and I trust the brokers Average Target price …. It’s their job to analyse the companies , only 2 of the 5 work for DT !

Low downside Risk … 775p target price so high upside risk for those short …

To me : the main risk is ML court case developments ( I see low chance of extradition) but some Governance impact if he can’t clear the courts might be possible … also source of funds , and any impact on Current management… but these factors not likely to happen anytime soon and Dark growing successfully fast ..

If ML is successful in his fight then that could be an additional huge Boost to shares !
He certainly has good lawyers and PR firms in his side , and even some MPs ..

Watchman - yes noted … I still think that PH created FUD , successfully so still Tea Boys - the fact is the Dark business growth and good products are still on track so PH was false news …

On ML I tested the water with “ uplift “ .. we all know the news could go either way ….. Boris still in power might actually increase ML chances of staying here … I still think ML is right , any court case should be done in U.K. not USA ..

Fingers crossed - I feel Usa Nasdaq , China Tech all have positive momentum today :)

Sheltie is more short term , I look medium term … also whether 100 pounds , 1000 pounds or 10000 pounds invested , every investor deserves the best , respect and care … it’s not about the amount but attitude …

Well Watchman - thanks - I am a humble broker follower ( Average if 5 brokers is 775 p around :) ) , sprinkled with overall market direction , momentum , fundamentals ( results ) with technical analysis , and some Geopolitics and World Econimic Forum forecasts all thrown in , plus bracing for ML uplift :) … VH might actually be close to mark 500 p seems possible soon , Dark is growing fast !

SMT certainly down from 1500 to less than 1200 recently .. and tech certainly was off … some funds think string tech will pick up again within next 6 months with rotation back , however banks and oil , cyclicals , travel , commodities seem to be the flavour of the day so far ….important Dark keep growing and beating growth targets …

Positive momentum today in China Tech and yesterday Usa. Tech .

I will eat my Hat if Dark does not go up today :)

Globally they say 150000 potential “ clients “ if you calculate how many companies are listed in the USA maybe 8000 and in U.K. maybe 2000 at a guess , plus private companies , medium size private , Governments globallly ( I guess no clients in China / Iraq / Russia / North Korea )
So far 6500 out of 150000 , plenty of room for growth , including cross selling new products to old customers .. which will make their old clients more “ sticky “ .
Think how many clients Microsoft had to refer too !

Maybe see Www.ortex.com free trial to see Institutional short interest if any in Oxford Nano … Oxford Nano suddenly the target maybe as it was still at a high ! If drops , then some investors sell , self full filling , but actually looks like the share has reached a level of resistance maybe !

Yesterday you asked for advice on platforms to trade … where are you getting all your shorting news from , Cabary Wharf group not much news honestly ! Mentioning Soanking and Algos does add to the fear in this BB , confused in your intentions sometimes !

Sheltie also remember we might both have valid views ( not perfect but valid ) .. your views certainly more correct in short term …. I am looking more Longterm 3 to 6 months at least … but on 3 months I certainly was wrong ! The brokers were wrong and I followed brokers … but brokers might be closer to the mark in next month or two ! Brace for ML news too !

Tech companies in growth phase as Lending and other have discussed are Sentiment driven , whole market and individual share fundamentals and technical analysis - and supply and demand of shares …

I am simply agreeing with the Average target price of the 5 analysts which is around 775 p …in medium term … not biased just agreeing with analysts …

Except for the ML factor still to come this month , this share was driven down by FUD according to Berenberg because actual business performance is excellent …

Today some of those who bought cheap in past 3 weeks took profits … after those who sell who wa T to sell have sold then I expect price to move North .

My main concern is not the business growth , but impact of ML court case result this month , the impact of course could be hugely positive too .. let’s see

At least you are contributing and yes your predictions on the downturn were good , but now I hope your 450 p will be broken soon as Dark heads above 500 p as next leg up before long , fingers crossed !

In Usa Sentinel one up up up today so far 6 per cent , Crowdstrike up 2 per cent so far … I think Cyber shares could be turning back Upwards … upward trend :) catch the wave if you believe do too !
