Technically the assets belong to Tanzania and not US by the way. I would suggest making judgement after any farmout deal is announced and as pointed out at the weekend, the Zubairs if they so wish only have to purchase 1% of the shares @ todays price of 2.6p to initiate a reverse takeover, so lets hope a fair farmout offer is made instead.

Crusty, I heard it from the same source(s) as you and it may or may not be true, but I still extend a possibility (slim) to a 3rd party and see no reason to write if off, lets face it we know nothing about what is going on in the background...as per usual! I agree, it is all about the Zubairs owning the prize asset & I would be one of the first PI's to sign up for a vote against any below "Fair" offer and was not diagreeing with kenrun's point, but we are where we are & will we just say no then, regardless of what may be on offer, even if thats enough cash to drill C1, recomplete NT-1 & 2 and connect for production etc? I just want to see ome bl00dy action like everyone else - multi drills - C1 - KN-2 etc and to do that Aminex need cash one way or another.

At this stage there is no reason to think that the Zubairs are going to make an offer for all 75% of the PSA (whatever that might be now?) The Zubairs only have to buy 1% of Aminex on the open market to push them over the 30% threshold and they would then initiate a hostile takeover anyway. Still not so long to wait I guess and if the offer is made to Aminex then solo get a cash value on the open market for thier 25%

Kenrun, you are right in that the best alternative to a negotiated agreement (Farm out) is a loan and or placing for Aminex. However I am convinced that the most attractive solution to the Zubairs would be to complete a farm in and increase their stake rather than see their stake diluted. I would also like to believe that they (Aminex & Zubairs) are thinking way beyond 6 to 12 Million$ and beyond just the C1 drill, a farmout might be the best option for providing the appraisal to development $, Nt-1, 2 & 3 need to be pumping gas and maybe oil before Aminex and the development plan(s) become self funded. As for the Zubairs intent mentioned earlier, remember they would only have to purchase 1% on the open market to initiate a hostile bid for Aminex, an attractive option at this market cap? Lets hope it's the farmout imo.

I expect the BOD and the Zubairs to put themselves in a position to make as much money as possible for their companies and themselves. The question is, how much of a bite is there for PI's @2.5p today and how many bites might we get from all the pickings? I have no doubt that the Zubairs will completely own all or the Majority of Aminex's Tanzanian assets before long, certainly if they complete the Farm in on top of the almost 30% they already own, then the case is only strengthened further.. As for making any judgement, it is good to consider all possibilities but I will not make any Judgement till I see the next move completed. I also wonder where SOLO's 25% of the asset up for farm in comes into play and how this fits into the Aminex/Zubair strategy. Should be an interesting rest of year.....but it could hardly be more boring though could it ;)

Got to agree with LT on the approach, all sit together and stand together for the questions and as Crusty said a list of submitted questions before hand. BG, hope you are right and we get the Farmout deal news prior to the AGM and in time for the vote, that should liven things up a bit!
