Good point Yare but solo are not the operator. KN-1 produced for a year and SOLO did not have to change their status to producer so I am not sure your conclusion is correct if they move Ruvuma to production.

Quit happy with the short term arrangement because

1.0 it allows to drill zone 4 if the first 3 come in
2.0 It allows the Bod to keep the rig onsite for the next well if there is commercial oil shows in drill 1.

It would seems sensible John and the licence extension has to be issued before the AEX EGM can be called so we have that to come first.

The exact opposite to what you suggest caddy, it's about engaging with shareholders, face to face. Still will be a good chance for you to get your points across face to face and for new shareholders and those positive to do the same.

Anyway, nice to see the new BOD stepping up to the plate, monetising assets and communicating with shareholders, a breath of fresh air compared with the old management.

If the first 3 targets are a success then they intend to go for the 4th deeper target as a bonus, the additional depth wont be drilled for free and better to have the cash available if required to move on without delay on the Vanji

Interesting take on Lenigas gaf. I am the opposite, very happy that the links to the man have been broken and the influence over the company ended with the appointment of the New BOD and the stepping down of NR.

The New BOD have already monetised one asset for a minimum profit of 45% in order to invest the proceeds in a much bigger asset - something the previous BOD and Lenigas never manged to do.

My questions will be focused on how they are going to monetise the 25% of 126 million barrels of oil and when. Partial sale or full production?

Hi Steve, I expect that the new licence extension will have been issued as the Aminex farmout is expected to conclude before the end of November and the licence has to be issued first, so there should be plenty to talk about as this also kicks of the spud date for C-1 and they have a small weather window which means they will need to spud late December/early Jan at the latest.

KN-1 should also be in the process of remediation and the perforation of the deeper zone.

Plenty to question the BOD about, thats for sure.

Not sure exactly how close they are to first target but they seemed to make faster progress approaching and drilling through the difficult patch compare to last time. Just wondering if they are slightly ahead of plan or not? Not that it will make much difference a day either way I guess. 90% COS and then the more interesting tragets :)

Yes New BOD Neil Ritson stepped down, New Chairman and new Director but yes Dan Mailing did get promoted to MD if thats what you mean. Cost reduced by 22% since last year in fact.

I would guess the bottom was the other week @ 1.30p, hope so since I bought some :) Looks more like a pre-news shake to me on both shares, but who knows for sure?

I have no problem at all with people being optimistic, if they did not believe the share is worth more and that the SP will increase, they would sell and move on, quite simple really.

The smaller news due is remediation on KN-1, perforation of the deeper potential gas bearing zone, CPR and production the bigger news due is the licence extension which activates the farmout the C-1 spud date and 3D seismic.

5 years, never heard of solo 5 years ago myself, seems you have your wires crossed there.

For the record I fully understand that very long term holders here might be underwater but they have to take responsibility for their own investments and not blame others. They are welcome to air their opinion and back it up with some information relevant to the CURRENT situation instead of just copy pasting and mocking others opinions.
