No idea if it is or not Tarry, but if it was my company I would be holding back on spending any more money till a licence is issued over the main asset, why should only one side hold and play the waiting card?

Maybe KN-1 is a bargaining chip Tarry, we know that WRL are approaching max production capacity without workovers and compression and that WRL don't have any workover or compression signed off or planned. So max production is very close, if they have any problems with their 5 wells then the country is stuffed and any requirement above 100 mmscd can not be met.

So hold back on KN-1 till extension licence for Matawa is delivered, why supply them with additional gas to meet demand.... all adds to the pressure?

So they want to start looking for even more gas reserves beyond those already discovered, producing and not yet producing.

Seems those gas demand profiles and the huge expected increase in domestic gas use is all pointing in one direction.

lol caddy, that is the published date for the farmout completion by Aminex, end November and the circular need to be issued 2 weeks before so Mid November and that is dependent on the extension licence.

November is the month and only 2 weeks to go for Aminex to hit their Farmout deadline, meaning the licence extension needs to be issued and that kick starts the Ruvuma development process.

Now if they hit it is another question, but I see in the News today the TPDC have a tender out for 3D seismic @songo so they feel the need to prove even more resources above those already found which fits the demand profiles.

GL for November as it could finaly spell out the road to recovery here.

Tanzania Gov is for sure very slow steve but I guess on the flip side they somewhere along the line want to get the best out of their national assets. The Extension licence is the first step and then aminex can get on with the farmout and then the Zubairs take over running the show with their deep pockets and resources, drill and develop + 25 year licence.

I think it is nearly there steve for Ruvuma in terms of aminex/Zubairs but certainly solo still need to organise the funding of the FFD or at least the first few wells. I assume thats what this weeks RNS is in preparation for.

lol steve Ruvuma will need to be in production testing late 2019 and full production 2020 with at least C-1 drilled, tested and completed for production if not C-2 during 2019 as well.

To fund the start of the Ruvuma development no doubt Stock. If Aminex are to meet their Farmout deadline then the licence extension needs to be delivered by Mid November and that should lead to the C-1 spud date. I assume the Zubairs and Aminex have asked for the money to be available?
