Nope, only the Tanz Gov can do that. I would wait till at least Monday the 25th before announcing any contingency myself, depending on how close they believe the licence lead-time is (this time) and any pending Gov. meeting dates.

With SOLO's cash position of around £7 million the SP will likely be pegged higher than your downside projection reaction although I will take more if it gets anywhere close, a lot more.

Well played Crusty, if the SP drops to that level (approx. 25 Mill mcap) it would be worth the Zubairs just buying a few % and going for a hostile reverse TO for the lot for £35 to £45 million, better deal than 50% of one asset for $40 million after all.

For now the Zubairs are about breakeven with their almost 30% holding at 1.3p which seems to offer some support.

lol Caddy, thats not true as you well know, the GSA however was a small % of a small asset, the licence we are all waiting for is for the primary asset, 25% holding to solo covering a multi TCF gas discovery and appraisal with 763 Billion Cubic feet 2C.

So although the timescales for the two are similar the value clearly isn't.

It's actualy taking no longer than the GSA did for KN-1 and the longstop is the 31st March and we are not there yet.

Could do with seeing AEX test the "farmout" announcement SP again, just need that licence, it's only a 12 month appraisal extension, it's not like its the 25 year development licence after all.
