The farmout longstop is expected to be extended next week at the latest, other posters here are talking about the BOD delivering a deal(s) based on the strategy launch March just gone.

The farmout Longstop and a deal s per the new bods strategy are completely independent of one another.

@ John, based on the lead time of the last longstop extension they should RNS tomorrow or Monday.

What AGM is that then?

Nothing to see here till a side-track is completed. Everything else looks to be pretty much noise and own book playing either way.

it looks like Shell, Equinor and Ophir WILL have concluded this summer.

My reading is completely different. No substantial work will be done till the PSA terms are confirmed and even then they might plug and abandon KN-1 post farmout and go for the larger leads over the licence area and connect up to the existing pipeline.

As for the prospects, they are very large, multi TCF and simply need the licence issued post PSA review and it looks like Shell, Equinor and Ophir have concluded this summer.
As for new ventures, they have been saying that for years as do most small mcap O&G companies.

I think as Crusty first pointed out (and in direct conflict with the Bod's then official stance) With the terms of all PSA's still to be agreed and very little cash in the bank, the Bod are unlikely to spend any significant money (they haven't got) on Kiliwani till the review, the licence and the farmout is complete.

2D re-processing (thanks vike for the reminder) is about the limit of my expectations till the farmout is complete.

Longer term, 8 to 10 years for the LNG plant to be up and running, shorter term it would need to be one of the current operators I should imagine, like Aminex for example.

Whats the BOD's end game here, to run Djeno to production or flip the asset and licence post flow rates, CPR and P1 resources?

If it's the later then no wonder they are going for the Djeno, that is where the money is, current shareholders are feeling and paying for that decision of course.
