No wonder the Gov are not coughing up the money the owe AAOG, it looks like they are skint and need the IMF money.

Thanks BigD. I must admit my expectation for that update is low with it being so close to Christmas/New Year and I expect it will just be a confirmation that they are still working on the conditions required to complete the deal, namely;

Regulatory approval in the Netherlands;
· the receipt of appropriate consents and transfer relating to the assets to be acquired;
· the confirmation that no pre-emption rights have been exercised in respect of the Interests, (these three CPs being referred to as the "Consent Conditions")

I would agree if there was significant volume, but there has been nothing of the sort. So more likely boredom, rainbow chasing or needing the money for Christmas.

I agree with you both :) The BOD should have given shareholders some update on or around mid Q4 and I am glad solo is suspended looking at the AEX SP decline.

We have no idea what the delay is, if it's Gov related then I expect there will be no progress till the New year myself.

I think it's very likely that Ruvuma and the Zubairs are at the front of the queue, certainly we know they are ahead of the LNG and Shell, Equinor etc and they have submitted the budget and workplan for 2020.

It can all come together anytime & one thing is for sure, no one here has a clue when.

The Zubairs have already spent $10's of millions and they have an implied spend of over $100 million to bring the field to production, the GOV just need to agree the total returns. The MPSA looks greedy, the PSA might look better?

At this rate, we still might do the double.

Easy money that's for sure. I guess there is nothing they can do till the GOV conclude PSA terms and maybe the MPSA of which no foreign investor has signed a PSA under the latest MPSA terms and probably for very good reason.

Should last till at least 30 June 2020.

I agree matherdj, one of the major upsides is non dependence on the painful & slow Tanzanian PSA process. The deal stacks up on the current production numbers all by itself, regardless of the 2C upside.

It's not unusual for a major investor to hold a meeting with the company it is invested in after all.
