It's all guess work Frank. All the right noises from the Gov again, "Open for business, a great place to do business" so the government keep saying. Seems the PSA review is completed by the Gov, question now is what happens next, is their room for negotiation with the Zubairs and the other operators or is it a done deal or were they were already involved?

Hi peking, I don't know for sure but It must be all or close to all. They reviewed 11 contracts last year that covered all the O&G in Tanzania. It makes sense that they are all completed together.

Expounding further on the matter, the Government's Chief Legal Advisor explained that already, his office has reviewed 13 Production Sharing Agreements and forwarded such report to the Prime Minister.

Morning John, I don't think wet or dry has an impact on when they will drill due to the work on the access road. In saying that they have had record rainfall and hence the impact to Wen's gas forecast as the Hydro is fully supplied right now.

At least Shell, Ophi, Equinor, Exxon etc are happy that the PSA review is moving forward so they can move on with the LNG in 2020, post PSA completion that is.

Hi op, yes I probably should have made that clear ref the 20 bcm and the LNG. The 1 BCF per day is of course dependent on the TPDC export pipeline to Uganda. In saying that to meet the TPDC's own time frame then development of the gas fields needs to happen soon.

In the Stated Policies Scenario, gas EXPORTS from Tanzania reach around 20 bcm by 2040 and 1BCF per day within the next 4 years.
