RE: Eureka worth? Scrolling old RNS28 Nov 2025 11:42
Thanks for that thomas
it looked to me like tnr got a really good deal back in 2007 i suppose argentina was just not a good place to work at that time and they walked away but looks to me a good price?
i like the comments in the second article
Previous owners took Eureka to an advanced exploration stage and had estimated resources of 62Mt at 1% copper and 600,000t at 2.7gpt gold - seems very good grades
then
Bezant believes there is potential to improve grade further by focusing on the structurally controlled feeder zones that have been revealed by geophysical surveys. Quartz-vein hosted gold is also an attractive target, with historical gold grades at Eureka as high as 112gpt.
the Eureka copper-gold project in Argentina has the potential to become a low capex, high-grade mine once further work has been done on the feeder zone targets located below the conglomerate layers. - low capex high grade is exactly what you would want and we should be able to turn the asset into a resource shortly?
i guess an analyst report backing all this up would be good in the near term while we await the drill results?
with the majors moving in and sentiment on argentina changing this has potential and then silver in chile also?
i couldnt buy ajax on hsbc so would be good if they could sort that out too!
