ok, but why then are IAG saying it will take to 2023 to get back to the pre-covid position?

They are selling £175k +cars to wealthy people. Not hatchbacks to the masses. Im not saying there will be no impact, but not as bad as other car manufacturers

New model is in the fastest growing car sector- SUV. No need for electric yet. Valkyrie is part hybrid so its not as if they are ignoring electric- indeed, Stroll said they will produce electric cars.

Just sold half of my very small holding for a 41% increase. Not bad.
Going to old the rest for long term. I see car repairs (less new vehicles) and electric bikes/scooters/personal mobility as a huge growth area and Halfords are in a great position.

Will look to get in again more if there are any dips.

There do seem to be a lot of chunky automatic sells triggered by the dip.... And some decent ordinary buys coming through as well... f

Some expected a bounce on factory opening, but that was announced some time ago. The 97% figure, whilst not entirely unpredictable, wont have helped. Still good reasons to be here imho, just hope there isn't tooooo much funny business going on to hurt pi's??

I was hoping for a quick bounce :( But, there is still plenty of good news with some serious backers (wealth and expertise) and a new model about to launch that is in the biggest sector, getting good reviews and (subjectively) is better looking than its competition.

DBX sales are probably the make or break of this, hence no upward movement???

Nice to see this back at £41. Went into Cardiff city centre last Thursday am- shops were dead. Turns out, everyone was in Costa! Stayed in a PI a couple more times since this year- still consistent, still very good.

Upgrade linked to downgrade of risk of higher min wage. I can only judge this with my eyes, but when I stay at a Premier Inn the whole hotel seems to be run very efficiently by say 2 staff members. And the counter at Costa never seems empty.

Good week or two for this share. Anyone know what is driving it? Perhaps it has been recognised to be undervalued?

I bought yesterday at a shade under £34, to hold for long term. Agree Costa is always busy. it is a luxury that could be cut, but I do think coffee is now something ingrained in peoples day to day life, and it is easier in peoples mind to justify small luxuries (that add up eventually) than a 1 off item like buying a new tv for example. Wage rises could hurt, but Costa Express seems to be everywhere. I stay in P inns with work , and am always impressed how consistently good they are, and how efficiently they are run. I assume todays drop in market generally is related to italy vote?
