Why do people here feel the need to tell people to sell , or make comments to the tune of I don't know why people are here...
I for one am taking the gamble that it does get bought out ,simple. I still have the common sense in my head to realise that may not be the case and my holding will reduce considerably in value.
So to sell folk to sell because they may have some doubts is pretty short sighted. This is a gamble on a takeover , and that is what i'm doing.

Well I take the SP as the real barometer on this one,it was 12p not long ago and could be 12 p again very soon. This is by no way a certainty of a deal as some seem to think.

Whilst I agree money doesn't buy happiness , it would be a pretty miserable existence when you're skint and struggling to pay the bills. Not being of that age myself yet , I would imagine being retired and skint is even worse. So for me money is very important to my mental well being and quality of life. I also like the idea of planning some kind of retirement , which without money would be impossible.
Just my take . Gimme the money any day!

The market isn't one bit interested in this stock , it doesn't even value it on a daily basis. It is simply waiting for the next offer , the price of oil doesn't even shift it.
I would say the BOD are so not trusted as the performance has been so poor over the years , the rhetoric has been such lies , it is a hated stock now , we are hating it ourselves , we're only waiting for the end game.
I for one feel the longer this goes on the cheaper it gets taken out for if at all. Bogota my butt , if there were to be a super take all offer Bogota would not be in the mix. That offer ,to me , doesn't feel like it will be coming. So a break up sale it will probably be if it happens at all.

Results won't move this baby anyway , they would need to be wildly above average to shift this dog. If they aren't reporting spudding or operational updates I don't expect the interims to be anything to write home about. Yes it does suck , it'll suck even worse if the sale price is crap or they manage to **** it all up and we're stuck with it and them.

Tell , what the point be of telling porkies to keep the price up if there is nothing to report? It's not as if they are awaiting a drill result of which they are confident will boost the SP. I don't buy that scenario. I am pretty fearful of the SP should there be no sale mind , I would suspect it to begin with a 9 pretty quickly. It would seem they have downed tools whilst all this is going on which is very unsettling should we be stuck with this lot. I am not brimming with confidence at all.

It's only about 7/8 years ago these were over £7+ each, what could have gone so drastically wrong?
I don't know the history but if it can go from that to this I wouldn't touch it....

How can they buy these? Surely that would be insider dealing unless there is no sale.
